After the most recent update released today "EVE Online: Crucible 1.0.2 client update #1". i'm experiencing a video driver problem that I've not had before. "Display Driver stopped responding and has recovered"

It seems to happen MOST when using jump gates.

Running Eve 7.20.326279
Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit SP1
Dual Core 2.0GHz Intel CPU
3GB RAM
Intel HD Graphics

....I don't run on much, but it's always worked great til now.

Hi,
at least experienced in WH:
Drone control windows does not appear, drones need to be launched by drone cargo bay and short cuts. Noted for drake and orca.

Corp locations are really great and important improvement for WH activity. Atm the synch is not totally understand. Sometimes it is nearly instantly, sometimes I have even to relog to get the new corp locations. Please improve further.

I do also support a revision of config settings, like:
- make them editable, like overview settings or even better
- give explicit advise which setting, cache etc. is stored for char / account
- in a further step you may think of letting people decide what setting shall be stored for acco / char. The only way to adress both favourites of players

Thanks for your consideration.

Drone Control Window is missing... Have to launch from the cargo hold and use keyboard commands to dock them. Don't know what there is to resize because it's simply just not there.

Submitted pitition and bug report and attatched dxdiag.

In the patch notes for Crucible 1.0.3 under user interface, it says: "Reintroduced distances for bookmarks while in the Solar System map and added a hint bubble for bookmarks too."

What does this mean?
I see no distances, or hint bubbles in the solar system map at all.

EDIT:
This appears to be fixed after the latest update.

After logging off or quiting EVE, the game crashes my sound card forcing it into a audio loop. In order to restore, I have to disable and re-enable the sound card in device manager.

Character model is mission random parts at logons. ie: no arms or face, next logon face but no chest or legs.

That's just a number of issues. I have a question for CCP: could you dumbasses please get your head out of your ass and do at least something properly? Or do you incompetent beyond any hope? I never saw developers that are SO BAD.

P.S. Also Cyrillic letters are s h i t! Please buy Punkturis a couple of Russian books so she could see how Cyrillic letters really look.

I'm a programmer, not a font designer (I didn't make the font)Smile
but if you have issues with the Cyrillic letters you should probably make a bug report for it and then it might get fixed by the appropriate people!

Is there any info about jumping windows when docking/undocking? Have a bug report for 2 weeks and not filtered. Understand that there is probably hundreds of thousands bug reports but could you UI devs have a look on this bug: 120801. Will send you guys & girls some cookies :3

I've fixed the windows jumping around by deselecting "merge items and ships" into station panel. If you select it and deselect it you should be able to see why. Basically the window for items and the window for ships are opening in some spot in the UI and immediately closing afterwards. But while opening they're moving your windows someplace else so they don't overlap, and they're not moving them back after closing.

At least that was the problem i was having. To fix it i just moved thhose two windows to a place they wouldn't interfere with anything

Drone control windows not appearing from SMA fitting is due to a bug I reported and the bug hunters have ignored for 3 weeks now. BUT DONT WORRY GUYS, THEY FIXED THE FONT BEING TOO BIG BY 1 PX.

But basically dragging drone stacks to the drone bay will bug up, just pull a drone aftewards from drone bay to cargo bay and put it back to drone bay at an SMA and your drone window will pop up.

I have just noticed a bug that I don't think was there before.

When jumping through a gate, the tactical view is no longer present. The button is still highlighted and needs to be pressed twice before it will appear again.

What's the time for a bug report to get actually filtered these days?
I have 2 reports out on Not Filtered.
First one is 118990 which was reported at 17th of november 2011.
Second one is 122871 which was reported at 14th of december 2011.

The annoying thing actually is the second bug, because I'm playing with NO sound et all because I don't want to play eve-online with lasersounds buzzing trough my headphone everywhere I go in the game at all times after accedently entering an astroid belt or ice field.
It makes playing the game That much harder in pve/pvp since I cant hear any alarms or bells ringing with the sound turned off.
Please read in to this.

It can't be that the bug-hunters are That busy.
If you are, someone is doing something seriously wrong somewhere with having too much bugs in a game.

Thanks in advance for your time reading this and replying on this matter.

Bug hunters work backward from newest to oldest trying to replicate the identified bug. If you have not submited a bug report into the right catagory or if there is little info attached the bug hunter might skip over it as the BH cannot replicate it easily. The new F12 bug reporting tool which sends logs and system stats with the bug report have greated a back log in the system. BH also have a priority doing the bugs reported on Sisi first I think, becouse they usualy get looked at and linked to a defect very quickly.

Sound is a very subjective thing if you wnat more feed back from the forum readers list your hardware and the headphones so we can ID if its a hardware issue or if you are just not aware of a setting or fuction in the UI that most EVE players take for granted.

The number of bugs and ID but not fixed issues has a back log all the way back to beta but it is getting a little better now.

hitting warp+jump button the warp will start, but sometimes, after arriving at the gate, you will NOT jump.

please see bug report 120892 from about a week ago. i provided 5 logs of 5 incidents. please tell me if you need more, it is still happening and additionally to missing some voice feedback, you never know if you have or will jump.

does also someone else have this issue? it is still happening to me, but it is random and non-reproducible. meaning it is happening over and over but you cannot force it to fail. one day no problem at all, then 2 jumps after each other jump fails.

if a dev could look into this it would be great. there is definitely some difference to using the autopilot to jump - which always works.

please check bug reports on this specific issue (inluding log files)

update:
- whenever it failed to jump (silently!) i seem to be ending up 2200-2450m away from the gate - farther than when it succeeds. maybe the jump command is issued "too early", when i am not yet in jump range?
- it seems to be happening in 95% of cases when travelling with small ships ( shuttle, daredevil, ...)
- might be happening more often when using the shortcut (d) instead of the button.

thanks for creating a new issue in your defect tracking system. have you been able to reproduce it? found the cause? easy fix / soon possible? ... this is great news!

I've made a detailed report and even attached a video with it to show the reproduction steps.
Maybe I'm the one being daft here, but isn't it to be more sensible to actually fix the bugs on the running Tranquility server and fixing them instead of just making new updates and repair bugs on that matter?
I'd be making sure the game is more or less bug free before releasing a new update, instead of piling things up?

The problem with EVE is that all code is action code or base code. Any other game you lock in the graphics code and then produce content based on that code until you fall behind graphicly. All it takes in EVE is one optimization to that code to go to far and then you get complaints from the other end of the player base about loss of fuctionality. Then Devs spend the next week fixing the issue 5% of the player base has. Big smile

Eve also has the issue of there are updates in the pipeline that until they get deployed fixing the original issue will be just double work.

Now that the main portion of Carbon is done. Devs can focus on corner cases and fixing playability issues. The client is gettting a lot of love from senior devs these days so all is good.
Until you get on Sisi and test there there is no way to know if your issue is fixed already. TQ issues get priority if they are game breaking any other issues are best brought up in a testing envirement. Where a dev can make code changes day to day without risking the live game. And a dialog can get started between the devs and the people experincing the issue.

Hope your issues get solved quickly.

I can play any other game for a long period of time and my video card will remain at 50 celcius. I checked out the captain's quarters for 3 min and my video card temp was already spiking at 59 and going up.

Is this really what carbon is all about ? Good thing i was alone in captain's quarter, I can't imagine what Carbon would do to my video card if Assassin's Creed II was created with it...

"Captain's quarters" is off and I don't even want to check out the new content.

Solar system map won't load at all.(just stays all black if docked, or if i open in space,
screen stays on ship 3rd person view and nothing is clickable until i close map)
never seen this before or heard about it. Ugh
Star map works just fine even with jump bridge links checked.
