CCP - OMG Seriously.. Change your damned warning systems :S

Ok, so there I was, in my main, flying in my chimera, grinding a site, when, BOOM, outta the blue, I get a "You connection to the server will now close, due to payment issues" - no warning, no time to get to safe, just *click*Close*!

Seriously, Idk how my carrier is atm, Idk if it's tackled as we speak, Idk if it is taking damage and is dying. - Guys, seriously, give us 30 minutes or just 5, to get the **** outta dodge, and get to a safe when you pull sh!t like this - Yes, I know, money is required, but damnit!

And for all those haters on ´this, what would it cost to take 5 minutes out of the overtime, to issue a warning?

It SUX!

He would respond to us all right now, but he forgot to pay his power bills a month ago too and right after posting that the place went dark. Then he couldn't go pay the bills, because his car was repossessed just after the lights went out because he hadn't paid for his car either.

Had this happen to a corpmate on a roam, "guys btw my sub is ending any minute" and he gets booted from server like right after that, I laughed so hard I couldn't feel my hands

Might have got a better response if you had said you were in a PVP fleet in your Curse. But hey either way, yes I agree there should be more warning.

Are you sure you can be trusted to handle your own finances?

Anyway, I have a recurring subscription and the problems that OP is experiencing never happen to me. Just a thought to consider.

Well not everyone checks their email everyday. I read so many emails at work the last thing I want to do is read them at home (I check mine weekly)

That being said there is a notice at the top of the character selection screen that tells you your account is going to expire.


This reminds be of the threads after the destroyer/BC skill changes, "why did CCP not beat me over the head and tell me directly that I needed to train some skills, CBF reading dev blogs or the forums. "

Not to mention, I know when I pay by non-recurring mehtods (such as Plex) there's a little countdown in the upper left corner of my character selection screen that says how much time is left for that account.

Literally every time you log in, it tells you when your account will expire.

The point is, it's your responsibility to make sure your stuff is not in a position to get shot down in a burning fireball, not CCP's. Stop blaming others for your own failure, accept the responsibility,. and move on with your life.

Eve Online is the only thing in all of my bills that I auto-pay.

That says much.

The reason being for everything else, if I drop dead in my sleep or something, I don't want my body bloating in my apartment as my bills are being paid automatically.

But that long skill que that I meticulously maintain must be kept going.
