Subject Skill Queue:

Papercut:

Please merge the skills and skills queue windows, Like put the skill queue bar underneath the tabs and replace the open trainign queue buttong with a drop down to see what skills are queued.

I feel that having it in two seperate windows are counter intuitive.
Cluttersome.
And stuffing the UI in redundancy.

I only see one drawback and thats longer load time on the skill page. and possible loss of the side by side subwindows though I do see it possible to have an {option} to make it side by side instead of top to bottom in extra effort

Subject: Order Visibility.

Minor annoyance of not seeing your own order highlighted when doing market views, this would be an extremly useful tool if it was available. For color blind mode slow pulsing color blue would do.

ITERATE FACTION WARFARE!!!!

ITERATE SOVEREIGNTY MECHANICS!!! (maybe make it exponentially more expensive to hold huge areas of nullsec)

Black OPS battleship gangs should be huge fun, but they aren't used much because BOPS ships are really poor for their high cost.
- Increase jump and covert bridge range slightly
- Give BOPS ships T2 resists

Frigates should be the most flown ship in PvP.
- Make them all a bit faster and more agile (and therefore harder to hit).
- Make non-bomber covert ops frigates a bit more combat useful so the BOPS gangs have something other than just stealth bombers and Black Ops battleships.

Drones:
- Make a totally new drone interface that will be more user friendly.

POS:
- Allow for refit of T3 cruisers at a POS.
- Improve POS use for wormhole life.
- Make POS defenses break faster if there is no POS gunner inside and active. This would make POS's less of a grind to take down when nobody is even bothering to defend it.

Keep up the good work CCP!

In high sec, a grav exploration site should have unusual ore in it. Finding a large omber deposit is great if you live where the is no omber, but is fairly useless in Gallente space. There it should be a large kernite or pyroxene deposit. The same idea should be used in all of eve: A exploration site should contain ore that is not to be found in the local belts.

Just remembered another....

The character bio used to be capable of holding a fair bit more info. Some of use used to include commonly used info for newer players. Links, general info, etc... this no longer fits. Please lengthen the bio.

Thanks.

In the upcoming new search feature:

Add special color for stations that are already flagged as waypoints in the asset window.

In the autopilot optimization routine:

Add the ability to declare a static end point... Say for example you're at Jita and you buy 10 things at different stations in the Forge, then you want to go pick them up and end your journey back at Jita with the least jumps possible. Current optimization wont necessarily give you the least jumps since Jita will rarely be the last system in the optimized route like you want it to be.

Also,

Change autopilot optimization to account for travel time by currently active ship, rather than by # of jumps. For example, there may exist a route which takes 5 jumps but 3 of the systems in that route are 200 AUs across (from gate to gate). A freighter might take 18.5 minutes to do those 5 jumps (due to it's 0.75 AU/s warp speed), while a rigged transport ship would only take 3.5 minutes (at a good 15ish AU/s). Meanwhile, there's another route that involves 8 jumps but each system is only 20 AUs across. On this route, the freighter would take about 11.5 minutes while the transport ship would take more like 5 minutes. The math involved is fairly straight forward and should basically be a weighted (by gate to gate distance) Depth First Search instead of a naive one.

*edit, that should read "Breadth First Search"

Add the ability to "View Contents" to the "Corporation" window > "Assets" tab > "In Space" tab. This would make it a lot easier to view fuel needs for towers and plan manufacturing/research jobs. The ability to see inside a structure remotely should be granted by a CEO/Director, probably under the "config starbase equipment" role.

Additionally,

The mere act seeing what assets your corp has floating around out there should be restricted to authorized persons within the corp. It also wouldn't hurt to have a "secrecy" level for each tower, so that "less trusted" corp members can see some starbases but not others requiring higher clearance within the corp. This is not a common problem, I understand, but it is one I have recently run into in the case of temporary corporations of convenience where incoming members are not necessarily to be trusted.

Overview & Ship info.

To a new player the number of different types of ships is overwellming.

The overview is not helpful in this respect as it displays the 'racial type' rather than the base type.

i.e as well as stating 'Claw' it should also be able to display 'Interceptor' , and even 'Minmatar' to those that want to see this.

Perhaps rather than the text 'Minmatar' one column could apear in the racial color.

Overview tabs limit.

Presumably the limit of 5 is for performance reasons ?
i.e. the game is constantly refreshing all 5 ?

How about allowing 10 tabs but only keep the last 4 viewed (initially the first 4 from the left) refreshed.

This one's a bit crazy, but kind of neat:

Infrastructure Upgrade: Police Rapid Response

This idea would give sovereignty holders a way to "secure" their system and encourage economic growth. High sec industrialists for example might take their business to null sec if they didn't have to rely on/trust other players to secure their freighters (full of billions and billions of isk worth of loot) from destruction on a daily basis. In my conception, the "Police" would be just like Concord as far as aggression mechanics, but the ships and guns would have to be stocked by the sovereignty holders. Thus, offenders/criminals could exhaust the supply of police units in the area. Also the number of available police and the skill level/difficulty/response-time of police units in a system would depend on the level of the infrastructure upgrade. In this way, effective police would have to be paid for by the economic improvements they allow.

Also, in the case of a sovereignty battle, sovereignty blockade units would disable police response. So that attackers would be able to a.) not have to fight a horde of NPC police in addition to the local player militia and .b) could actually commandeer the police force if their attack is successful. Of course, not bringing SBUs and simply destroying an enemy's police could be effective economic warfare.

One 'little thing' - edit the OP to suggest the sort of maximum development time you are thinking of for a 'little thing' and suggest where people should take 'bigger things' e.g. a forum link.

When a bookmark is created have a stab at giving it a sensible default name.

It won't be precisely what everyone wants but it will be a start one can edit from.
e.g.
"BM {nearest fixed body} : {angle to the horizontal} - {distance away}"

I'd like to be able to rent a 'locker' in a station, just like it's possible to rent a corp office. The locker would be a hanger available to other characters who the know the password set by the renter.

This feature would be useful for transferring kit between characters or alts, particularly if they belong to differnt corps. Yes you can do this with the trade window or contracts, but they can be a bit of a hassle - eg with trade the two characters have to be in the same station at the same time. I see a private hanger accessable to be and my 'buddies' as a nice timesaver feature. Useful when sharing modules between accounts/characters, of sharing industry stuff.

It would also be an effective ísk sink'. Rental fees/month could depend on the popularity of the location (eg jita) and if the renter runs out of isk to pay the monthly fee, the contents of the locker would be transferred to his hanger.

bigger overheatbuttons or rightclicking a mod makes the overheat led go green

the time dilatation timer is visible in all systems affected, not only in the system where the fight is.
( it would cause less petitions since ppl know whats happening)

remove the stuttering when time dilatation kicks in: make it just all go slowmotion but fluently

a "keep on primary" option for drones: if you start shooting a new target, your drones do too , if that option is checked.

an icon / button to get your drones in space to engage, comparable to the gun-icons ,

an auto-targeting mod that locks all hostiles/neuts, not only those agressing you

visible missile-launchers, and missile hardpoints

make it visible when you outrun a missile (completely or partly ): the missile explodes not on your ship but near it.

the option to set your overheat for only one cycle

the option to group, ewar, neuts, web, ...

an option to set the keyboard to "mod-control" so we can use azertyui for the highs, qsdfghjk for the mids and wxcvbn,; for the lows
( instead of using f1-f8 and ctrl-alt-f1-8)

an option to disable ctrl as lock button

give the web drones better speed ( maybe slower turn-speed if you think it would be overpowered)

use the trails to make web-effects visible ( stuttering line instead of a full one or more yellow like it doesnt burn as efficient)

make the sensor-boost effect a little more quiet or litlle less annoying of sound

maybe make the web effect not white but a different colour ( red?) we have lots of effects that are white

see gangmembers cap-level in watchlist

see if gangmembers are being webbed/ ewarred, pointed or jammed in the watchlist

allow logi's to add more then ten pilots on watchlist.

Neutral/enemy pilots should not be allowed to act invulnerably as fleet boosters.

After a pilot acting as a booster assists another pilot in aggression, they should be given the opportunity to accept it as their own aggression before a set time when their booster status is revoked.

If the pilot is assigned booster status to a pilot who is already in aggression, they should be required to accept that aggression with a message clearly informing them that they will in fact be doing that and the possible result of that.

This would still allow bonuses to ganks every 15 minutes, but would mitigate abuse of casual players (Incursions) or other people who've taken no side in a conflict. This does interfere with AFK/alt boosters, and clearly the impact of that should be weighed.

What good this would do is prevent the obvious exploitation of mechanics like Faction Warfare, where *cough*Arbane*cough* enemies could make invincible booster alts who attacking would have serious penalties for other people in that faction. This would be a better solution that blocking fleets between foes for duels/other clever non-abusive reasons.

A simple input to specify fixed-window size instead of having to use registry hacks or tools to add custom (and otherwise unusable/unneeded) resolutions.

> On the forums people with negative security status have the "Bounty" on their character portrait like in game.

> Have different Icons for, Hull Repairer Remote Hull Repairer, Armour Repairer, and Remote Armour Repairer, trying to distinguish between them is nigh impossible.

> A few more backgrounds for the character creation system, these ones are great but its been a year and we need more so we don't get bored. Specifically the pirate backgrounds, Guristas, Angel, Blood Raider, Serpentis and Sansha. Maybe some of the NPC corporation logo's as well for RPers.

> Edit: Removing stations from Sov Warfare, when the TCU goes down the station becomes neutral. And when a new TCU pops up, the station becomes the property of the new owner.

Two little things, that I'd like to have improved:

1) Can we have a search field like the one in the star systems map, but right in the front UI? It could be placed right below the system information in the upper left corner. The search field should enable looking up systems and stations, and allow for a quick programming of the route. I'm tired of having to open the systems map in order to program a destination.

2) Overview: Would it be possible to get a more graphical display of the angular velocity or transversal speed in relation to the ship's capabilities? E.g. the displayed values could be colored according to how close they are to the optimal. If they are within the ships's tracking capabilities, the numbers are colored in green. If they exceed the capabilities, they get colored in a more orange tone. If they are far beyond the tracking capabilities, they are shown in a red color.

Something like that.

Now there is a situation that high in all sectors of the NPC stations, all the lines to copy and study efficiency (ME) are occupied, and the closest release date through 20 days.
Need to raise performance to the level of drawing ME 100-150 has no good use, but apparently the game got a lot of producers or nubo many speculators who deliberately slaughtered all the free line to sell his drawing with the ME 150 through contracts.
It would be desirable as it solve the problem of huge backlog of research productivity.
Maybe the problem can be solved by raising the cost of leased lines to study the efficiency of production in times of 10-100.
