So today i upgraded my trial, i bought 3 months because i would get 4 ships then. When i bought my upgrade and started eve i didnt have the ships, i tried restarting the whole client but it didnt work. Also i was looking at the retriever and you need a skill called mining barges for it, and that requires a non trial account. It stil says for me, that trials can't train that skill. Please help i don't know what to do anymore D:

That "cannot be trained on trial accounts" is visible to everyone, it doesn't check if you have a full account or a trial.

If the package you bought included ships, go to the top left menu on the Neocom -> Inventory -> redeem items.

That sentence in the description is there even if you're no longer on trial. Yep confussed alot of new players. Grrr CCP.

If you login at the bottom of the screen should be redeemable items. If not login and tere is a redeem buton on the neocon.

If that fails petition it http://community.eveonline.com/support/support-tickets/.

Ships that come with the 3 month account sub-deal are put in your 'Retrieve Items.'

I'm pretty sure you can only pick one, but it's been a while.

As for the Retriever, did you try injecting and training the skill? The description will always have 'Cannot be trained on Trial Accounts'
But if you've upgraded, you should be able to train it.

It says that trial accounts can't train that skill for everyone. If you're not on a trial account though, you can train it.

About the ships, they should be in the "redeemable items" bar thing. When you first open Eve, and the character select screen comes up, at the bottom of the screen should be a bar that you can click on. The ships should be in there. Click and drag them to the character you want, and that should be it.

Also, a little advice. Find a noob friendly corp to join as soon as you can. This game is meant to be played with other people; if you don't play with others, especially while mining, it gets REALLY boring. Having some buddies to talk to and ask questions helps out a ton.

When you log in, at the bottom of the character selection screen will be any items that are owed to you from your upgrade, drag and drop them to you character to redeem them; they'll then appear in game. (There are other ways to redeem stuff, others have covered them above)

With reference to the "cannot be trained on trial accounts" on skills, that's hardwired into the skill description and doesn't change regardless of the status of the account, trial or not. If you've subbed, you should be able to buy and train the skill, disregard the warning about not being able to train it on a trial, it doesn't apply.

But above all - welcome to EVE!

Always remember that it's a game, and don't take it (or yourself) too seriously. Fun can be had but you will get your head kicked in for you once in a while. PvP is the name of this game, and it comes in many forms from ganking to market scamming to corp theft and awoxing....

But you'll do ok.
