I had an idea recently whilst in a mining fleet

Mining can sometimes become tedious whilst in a fleet with many others (I myself have many alt accounts, each with a designated miner for when I'm mining). The tediousness come from avoiding crossing your mining lasers with someone else, and thus accidentally mining the same asteroid, which of course slightly loses efficiency overall, so my proposal is as following:

Make it a TOGGLEABLE option, in the fleet window, so that all fleet members can share what they are targetting.
You can see what everyone else is targetting, and they can see what you are targetting, which in turn makes it easier for people to find a new target quickly, without the worry of dual targetting with a fellow fleet member.
I was thinking about how you can see enemies target you on the overview, with yellow/red boxes around the icons. If a purple one was for fleet members it would be easier for people to distinguish it.

After giving this a little more thought, and speaking to some friends... the applications of this could not only be for mining, but for PVE/PVP also -- and it would most certainly help those people who help out newbies, when it comes to teaching them the basics of eve, how to target, what targeting does etc
In regards to PVP/PVE applications, the fleet commander could have a different colour, instead of purple, but green maybe, and this could be a new way to broadcast targets (unless of course the FC is doing another role such as logistics, then the broadcast target would be applicable, so the fleet knows which ship to target)

Just been fiddling around with the fleet options more and I'm still not able to broadcast numourous targets from each miner in the belt... i'm right clicking and hitting 'broadcast target' -- and on all other miners, no broadcast is recieved.

Either I'm doing something wrong, or my proposal still stands -- (truthfully I believe it still stands since having to broadcast each target is another clickfest which would be easier just being able to see what everyone else in the fleet is targetting simultaniously)

Ahh I see now

Whilst this is a great feature, only the squad leader, wing commander and fleet commander seem to be able to have this function, whereas the characters in the squads dont have this ability -- meaning I need to switch to the squad leader each time, for each target, and therefore it makes more work overall sadly

But I thank you for your input

The commander is myself and its pure alt-tabbing constantly just to tag targets -- Would be easier being able to see everyones targets automatically
