Why does my POS attack me?

So I set up a POS, and whenever I go outside the shield, the defenses begin attacking me (the owner).
I set it up, am still in the same corp, and ive added myself as a 10,0 corporation contact.

In the defenses tab ive set it to "attack if standing lower than 9.0"

Why does it still attack me and anyone else I set as a +10.0 corporation contact???
Please help

Because as a baby POS you failed to set the right boundaries. Now it's grown up you cannot be surprised it's acting out. Teenagers eh?

You have to turn off the "Skynet" option.

You may have your standings toward your corp at 10, but that doesn't make your corp's standings toward you 10. Try lowering your corps expectations a few notches and see if you find a sweet spot. I fiddled with trying to get my corp (and I'm CEO and founder) to think as much of me as I do of it, and it took weeks of fiddling with stuff. I can't really remember how I actually did it now, it was so long ago. Sorry. But, I do know they're two different settings. You setting standings to your corp doesn't set your corp's standings to you.

Paradise is like where you are right now, only much, much better.

Its a feature of the game, simple as that. Working as intended.

You shouldn't have to set any kind of standing between you and your corp, one way or the other. Do you have "Allow corp use" checked?

Do you have "use alliance standings" checked? Are you +10 to your alliance?

A screenshot of your setup would help.

POSs don't care who set them up - they have no sense of loyalty.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

POS is reminding you that it is dangerous outside the shield. Consider not leaving the shield. Shield is love, shield is life.

Have you been feeding it the wrong fuel blocks? Maybe there's some unidentified structure in the systems and Sleepers meddling with the POS code? Or maybe someone left Rogue Drone AIs in the POS hangar and it spread?

Maybe you only need to shoot it into reinforced once to show it who's the master.
