EVE Buddy System With Amazon

So I know if I invite my buddy to EVE with the EVE Buddy system in order to get a PLEX to split with him he can NOT upgrade his account with PLEX, but can he upgrade with Amazon, I know you can't if it is a Amazon starter pack because it says it in the Terms along side the Buddy System but if he just gets the game time from Amazon and activates his 21 day trial account with that Amazon gametime, will I be able to redeem a PLEX or will I be limited to that lovely Catalyst Collection

From the look of it, it's just a PLEX.

Bray to send the money direct to CCP (via acct management). You can use CC, PayPal, and some other services.

Thank you, I opened a ticket with CCP about it, over all I don't see why you wouldn't be able too, considering most US creditcards don't get along with over seas payments and amazon just seems to work
