Suggestion : Add brightness, contrast and gamma controls.

Note: My nVidia drivers, at least, provide application-specific options for 3d settings, but brightness, contrast and gamma controls are global. Once I get them set to where I can read things in eve given the dark themes and low contrast, EVERYTHING else on my computer is unreadable, so I have to change settings every time I enter and exit the game. I have this problem in NO other game.

Corporate and Alliance Contracts:

Please make the contracts be able to last a minimum of a month. When putting up hundreds of ships and having to redo them every week after the contracts expires is just draining and soul crushing.

Allowing contracts to be set to a month or more will help solve some of the "all grind for no gains" problem that EvE has. As always, just adjust the brokers fees to include the cost of the extra 3+ weeks (or more) of contract life.

Suggestion : Add (optional) audible and possible more noticable visual reminders of calender interaction

Note: Have the option for an ingame sound as a reminder for calender events, "reminder 15 minutes before", or a reminder that you have been invited for a calender event. A slightly blinking time is not a lot.

  • Note: Skill queue length is misleading

  • Now that we can have unlimited skill training queues - why not give the total remaining time in the training queue on the character selection screen? This is so that I at a glance can see if I need to log on that character to edit the skill queue or not.

    My alt training queue is 5 days, but the remaining time on the character selection only shows the current training (13 hours). Slightly confusing and to get the correct queue lenght I need either to use a third party tool or use another site or log the character in only to (in use case above) confirm that no change was necesary.

    Alternatively: as was pointed out elsewhere - make the mouse over behaviour consistent. If you are on the last skill - total skill time is not displayed on mouse over. It is also a semi-hidden feature.

    Suggestion: Add remarks options to all jobs, contracts and market orders

    Basically, I would like every market, industrial or invention job as well as contracts and direct purchases and sales to have the ability to be supplied with a wallet remark, like what can be done with wallet transfers right now. The reason I would like this is so that I can more easily keep track of money and materials related to multiple industrial projects without needing cumbersome spreadsheets. This should lead to the same market transaction having two different remarks, one for buyer and one for the seller.

    Suggestion: The Ship Fitting interface's background of blue clouds should change with the ship's racial type, matching the cloudy backgrounds seen in the ship's icon.

    Have the Fleet invitation popup not say "Attacking members of your fleet is not a CONCORD sanctioned action" but then have it accually be a concord sanctioned action.

    Suggestion: Have the Invention button be active at all times on the info box for a BPO that makes inventable copies. It should be possible to use the Invention button to determine what skills and datacores are required to invent from a copy.

    Suggestion: Different walking animation for women. Having "full" muscularity means she should not sway her hips back and forth while walking, this is indicative of a weak musculature, which is something my character does not have.

    Alter warp scram and warp disruption batteries on POSs to use the same mechanisum as infinate points on heavy interdictors, the pos modules are supposed to be a whole different magniture in comparison ship module versions and currently both supers and titans can warp in at POSs with impunity and defang towers.
    Changing the warp scram/warp disruption batteries to use the infinate point mechanisum means that supers and titans will no longer be able to defang towers with impunity giving corps/alliances more chances to tackle and kill hostile/neut supers/titans trying to defang towers.

    Suggestion: New characters start with cybernetics 1

    Notes: It's pretty essential, it has no prereqs anyway, and the book costs a trivial amount. Why not save me having to sit and stare at my queue for 20 minutes every character I make?

    Suggestion: Enable the search function in the assets tool to also work for items stored in containers.

    As someone who regularly logs on and then leaves the computer I would find it very handy to be able to leave a status visible to my corpmates that I am afk. What I envisioned was a thin color coded bar with a few possible status meanings. The first that comes to mind is afk and occupied. The scope (all chats/just corp/set globaly or individualy) someone would have ti think more about.

    Note: Every time i get back to Eve i have to reprogram myself to scroll DOWN for Zoom IN. I understand some people like it like this but is a toggle button to reverse it in the menu so hard to ask for? This is worse than the imperial system!

    Suggestion: More "Find in" options when right clicking an item

    Note: Such as "Find in Assets","Find in Transactions"

    I do a lot of high volume, low margin trading, which means I am constantly looking at items in my Transactions, to make sure I am actually making isk on a given item.

    Right now we have "Find in Contracts" if you right click an item.

    I would love to see that change to "Find in..." with a sub-menu, such as:

    Find in...
    - Contracts
    - Assets
    - Transactions

    Also, that spells CAT. It is an omen (like, a sign, not the cruiser).
