Our war on gankers is about to start but as we all know there are many ways to wage war, One way in which code do very well is in the field of Psychological Warfare, they have set rules for contact with targets and their minerbumping site to spin the results of these contacts.

The point of which is to maximize the tears of there targets, be it from ganking , corp audit ( corp infiltration) well we all know what gankers do .....

What i would like are the chat logs of any contact with gank groups, some of these people play the nastiest group of villains in eve , after all who makes friends with people in a corp, just to rob them , speaks volume to me . Lets all hear the real side of the storys and help stop the fabrication and ridiculing that seems to sustains them

So send me any contact you have with them before Jame 315 Edits it, please send to me in game only

On a final note, war is a messy business and innocent people may get hurt along the way , and indeed have, by our operative, to which i am very sorry but its for the Greater Good in making High sec a little bit safer.

For the greater good? You are beginning to sound like a dangerous egomaniacal dictator here. Waging war for the greater good, breaking eggs to make omelets, where will it stop? Who voted you in as leader, ay? Just know that there are freedom lovers everywhere who will stand up to your bullying ways. We in the new order will not tolerate would-be tyrants trying to take control of high-sec to sate their own lust for power.

What you see is not a fabrication, trust me. I have seen it first hand. The carebears really are as vile as you see on minerbumping. Try ganking a few and you will see for yourself. Even just bumping them out of range of their rocks (for profit) sends them into a rage.

And we do not make friends with people in corps just to steal from them.

E: And a war? In the holiday season? Shame...

There once was a ganker named tisi

Real side? You mean the calls for RL violence against those playing a video game? I think you'll find the vast majority of those come from the so called 'good guys'.
That's what should be speaking volumes.

As far as people joining corps to make friends and rob them, it's called Eveonline. Welcome. Cool

One must laugh at the intent on blowing up ships that never intend to make it back to the docking ring anyhow.

Want to win against gankers? PM one and they will tell you how:

The best way to curtail the activities of gankers is to teach their lazy and entitled prey that they need to

  • Be at the keyboard
  • Tank their ships
  • Not go afk in space unless cloaked (grr afk cloaking Twisted)
  • Not to act like small children who rage incoherently and inappropriately when their toys are taken away explosively
  • Realise that highsec is not safe, it is merely safer than some other parts of the game
  • Know that Concord are reactive not proactive
  • Acknowledge that they, and they alone, are responsible for their own safety
  • Accept that the people who prey on them are playing the game in a way that doesn't violate the rules as they currently stand
  • Use Dscan and the rest of the tools that are available to everybody to protect themselves from those that would like to see them explode

I fear that OP will be walking away from this endeavour gravely disappointed.

As much as I sense a train wreck coming, and despite the fact that reading minerbumping is a guilty pleasure of mine , I applaud your valour. In no way do I wish to discourage your endeavour, however I might suggest you consider why there don't appear to be any other Citizen CONCORD corps currently operating in high sec. It might also pay to track down members of previous anti-pirate/griefer corps to see how they got on in the past.

I would also suggest limiting communication with CODE members in all forums to avoid providing fodder for the minerbumping site. And of course watch out for spies who will no doubt rally enthusiastically to your cause but can usually be identified by their earnestness and willingness to help you manage your corp assets.

As an anarchist, you have my support in toppling James 315 the Terror of Highsec.
Hopefully your project will survive until I return from holidays.

Wishing you well

Best of luck with your war, OP! Many have tried, and very few have succeeded.

For the style of warfare you're plotting, you really need to bone up on your storytelling though. You've got to grab the attention of your audience early, and hang on to it with interesting content. Be approachable, interesting, and personable.

That's the reason James slices chatlogs up into manageable chunks. Ain't nobody got time to read a pastebin chatlog, so you gotta be good at sniffing out the most entertaining bits to present to your audience. Classy humor also helps out a BUNCH.

The Code always wins.

1. Any form of direct counter-action will be labeled "tears", "rage", etc. which they will count as a victory. The Code wins.
2. Discrediting any of their leadership will simply result in a new Code adherent taking up the banner, citing how the discredited members had strayed from The Code. The Code wins.
3. Denying Code pilots targets through smart piloting means that players are playing the game intelligently and at-keyboard, which is the stated purpose of the Law of Hisec. The Code wins.
4. Doing nothing means Code pilots just keep ganking. The Code wins.

There is literally no way to defeat them. At best, you can try to intervene and save their targets or take shots at gank ships in progress, but neither of those qualifies as a defeat to Code adherents even if successful. It's the classic no-lose scenario. A masterful move on the part of James315 and CODE. leadership.

You missed the most important one, Mr. Bronson.

No matter what you do, Code pilots will continue having fun playing EVE. The Code wins.

You beat the code by ignoring them. Don't acknowledge there existence, don't interact with them. Hi-sec is big enough to avoid them. If they move to your system just move out, every system has asteroid fields. If everyone ignored them they would not get the publicity nor the tears they are looking for. They are abusing game mechanics to cause as much grief as possible.

If they move in, move out?

Wow. That sounds fun.

Abusing game mechanics would be stopped by CCP. But since its working as intended, no need to worry.

I am looking forward to OPs rebellion, like I looked forward to all the past rebellions that where announced. Actually I am still looking forward to most of the rebellions which where announced in the past, because I probably completely missed them, nothing happened at all or they will start some day in the future, no one knows.
