I messed this one up. I killed the pirate and looted his ship but did not see any capsule. So I missed getting the objective.

When I went back to the location, it was all clear, no asteroids, no capsule.

How do I recover and do the mission? Will it reset after a while by itself?

With career missions if you mess up just lodge a petition they usually reset it for you very quickly.

I opened a ticket and they reset it right away.
