I did a quick search and didn't seem to find much and am also kind of surprised this wasn't implemented with DCT when it launch. I also apologize in advance if this as been discussed already. I am sure many people have many characters in use across multiple accounts and micromanaging their skill training as needed for the task at hand. While DCT is awesome in my opinion, for those who can't afford to or choose to not spend plex to use it, I feel that an extra selection in the popup window to use a plex to use DCT should also give the option to simply switch the active training queue to the character logged in. The game already knows which character is active and having to log in multiple times in a potentially short span to simply train a skill on another character and then switch back is pointlessly time consuming. I do it quite often to quickly train skills to 1 or 2 when needed for a task.

I also monitor all my characters/accounts on my phone where i can see my training queues at all times so an improvement to this would be to be able to select which character has an active queue in game and completely rid the need to switch accounts at all to start or return the active training to a specific character by having a switch button next to apply and pause or even asking if the active queue wants to switch when the queue is paused. It would save a great deal of time and make micromanagement skill training far simpler.

Even the ability to do this from the website for account management would work since you would be able to switch queues while away at work or on vacation. Simply the ability to not log into the game should not effect your ability to manage your training. I'm sure people who play but travel a lot or work crazy hours would just love this.

No.

You can queue 10 years of skills. This was done because some people couldn't log into the game. Set long queues.

I never said anything about long queues, I'm talking about switching your active queue between the characters on your account without having to pause your queue, log off, log back in as another character on the account, make queue active. log off, and then log back in as the character that you were playing. When it asks you if you want to use a plex to DCT, it should also ask you if you just want to switch your active training to that character.

I'm sure CCP wants it as you've explained, they mentioned something to that affect before. I think they said it's a technical limitation.
