I want to do the epic arcs, specifically the one for the gila bpc. Two times I have tried to get to null to do it and ended up being podded back to high sec.

I can not run cov ops, plus not that great for actual combat so was thinking I can use a cov ops cloak so why not the soe frigate?

What kind of a fit would you use for the soe frigate to make the run to null and do the missions?

My armor skills suck, shield is where I trained.

Long range projectiles for highs
passive shield tanked with purge rigs
lows be a sheld power relay, damage control and rest as drone damage 2?

I don't have experience with Guristas arc, but I did Angel Sound.
The thing is, CovOps probably won't be able to actually complete missions. Or if it will, it will be painful.

I did it using throwaway Tristan. Travel fit with a cloak and MWD, some spare mods for mission fit if you feel like. Search M&C forum for fit (maybe S&M, I dunno).

Another important thing is to use dotlan, and read articles in the "survival and navigation" section here. Important stuff: d-scan, cap dumping, bookmarks, MWD+cloak trick. Don't remember what else, but you'll figure.

Best of luck. You probably will die, but who cares about ships that cost few millions each when you're looking at 200-350 mil reward? That one worth hauling in a covops or cloaky inty though.

Oh, and back then this was the popular fit to use (this is travel fit, you should probably use dron navigation computer if you drop cloak; but nothing stops you from fixing lack of drone speed with piloting where it really counts, AFAIR). Don't quite remember what to best fit into free slots, but whatever. Costs 3.7 mil.

My experience may be a bit outdated, but meh.

I did them in a Crow. That was before the Crow got nerfed, but it should still work. Refit between travel fit (max agility) and combat fit.
