new type of drone with the ability to warp that can assist anyone within the same solar system. you just assign the drones to assist somebody. If you want the drones to be quicker on sight just assign them to the person on grid with you and warp off to safety. Later you can undock and scoop your drones (if they are alive), the drones will warp back to you. This will require several high slot modules (the more modules the more distance the drones can warp)

I notice you have been posting a lot recently in regards to game mechanics you poorly understand. Might I suggest you go play the game for a few months and then come back when you have a better grasp of how the various mechanics of the game works?

Also the idea of your drones fighting on your behalf while you are docked belongs in the hall of fame for godaweful ideas.

Drones fighting while docked is not so bad if there is a limit to how many drones can be assisted on somebody, why is it on your hall of fame list exactly if you care to elaborate

Other than the market, in order to interact with other players you have to undock. The only true safety in the game is when docked, and the trade off is an inability to directly interact with other players outside the station until you undock.

Let's flip it around. If allowing ships inside the station to fight ships outside the station while docked is not a problem, is there any reason allowing undocked ships to fight docked one should not be equally as fine?

Simply send your drones in to wreck all the enemy docked ships while they are stored away in hangars. Bullshit, right? It's simply the same situation in reverse.

Because you could have a fleet docked up, actually AFK, in a maximum damage fit, assisting drones to a single fast ship (garmur, orthrus?) on a gate, creating a situation where you have the offensive capability of 10 players, but only 1 player in space with no real way of handling the drones.

This is a proposal that has the real potential to push the miserable tradition of risk averse station games onto an even higher level of pathetic sadness.

Not supported.

No. Nononononono. Just No.

I'd go as far as limiting a player to only being able to have Drone Interfacing+Advanced Drone interfacing drones flying/assisted to them. This way any single player could only ever be in control of 10 drones.Lets players work in pairs (good for smaller groups) but means larger fleets need to be communicating well to be completely effective.

Need more people to undock. Not less.
