Drone Bay Configuration Option

Maybe the title is the incorrect name and sorry if someone has thought about this before but here we go.

Drone ship with light/medium/heavy drones in it.

I know you have groups now in your drone bay.

What if like with probes in a prober you can fit the drones in a set configuration save it and you then are ready for a specific fight.
So you will have multiple groups to configure the drones you have.

So 1 setup might be: MAX DPS - Cruiser:
3 x medium, 2 x light

gtfo:
2 x medium, 2 x light 1 x web drone

Jam
4 x light, 1x ecm(for the ocational jam - if the do jam that is)


Instead of dropping lights only or mediums only you can have a anti frigate setup or a anti cruiser setup depending on what you fighting.

You then simply right click your drone bay and select the setup you want.

I would say a max 3 to 4 setups that you can configure and deploy.

Good idea or is it going in the bin?

You can already do this with drone groups.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Yes sorry I forgot that you can have groups.

I meant multiple groups to configure the drones you have.

I like this idea, moving drones between groups in the current set of controls is a PIA.
