Wagh, this is what I used to pay for isboxer for specifically. This may save me some $$ =)

i'll have to look into this when I get home.

I was tempted to use isboxer just so I could watch my 3-4 accounts at the same time, but if this does that... then I think i'll use it.

OMG Comet Mining idea!!! Comet Mining!

Agreed. I didn't want to pay for something I considered botting. This (assuming I can get it set up on Win8.1) is what I've been looking for.

EDIT: Excellent. Crashed on me once when I closed my "last" client first. But later when I closed other clients the program didn't even care. Not quite sure what went wrong but I'm not terribly concerned.

I assume anyone has checked the source out for unwanted tidbits?

I'd like to know if it's safe, and allowed to use this, if it is that would be amazing!

Occasionally the program crashes when I close out eve clients with EVE-O on. Usually it's when I close the last client first. In addition, if I close a client with the "borderless" mode with the "EVE - CHAR_NAME' (sorry, I'm at work, I don't remember the checkbox name) the "EVE - CHAR_NAME" hovers above everything (I use always on top) until I close EVE-O and restart it.

In addition, with the partial demise of ISBoxer, I would love to see this program become more stable. It would also be pretty cool if EVE-O could read the resolution of the EVE client so you know how big to make the preview. That way you don't have the black bars on the top/bottom or left/right.

C# is my language of choice for non-web applications, I may take a poke around your source code and the HWND stuffs to see what I can do when I get home.

EDIT: for those who were wondering about the source code, he posted it to Reddit a few months back: https://bitbucket.org/ulph/eve-o-preview/src

-Fantastic- window manager.

Definitely happy with 5 clients going, and manually switching between them.

Would be really cool if it could also (optionally) manage the positioning of EVE client windows.

feature creep !

Is there anyway this program could be used to move ui elements like com windows and dscan / probe windows etc to a seperate standalone window ? I would love to get rid of some of that stuff and put it on my second screen.

All this program does is using AERO display preview of AERO window preview in selected part of screen. It does not talks with clients, and as You might know using automation on clients is banable now (altough i agree its not game world affecting stuff)

Actually, the world is going sane ;)

CCP has shown faith in and support of our revered 3:rd party devs.

They've both listened to and acted on ideas, criticism and requests.

It's nothing more than natural that CCP (esp SocksFour) hand some of it back ;)

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

I am really bad at this stuff... like REALLY bad... but decided to see if I could get the tracking of client locations in. Forked the repo and began playing around this morning. Mostly just trying to understand how the program currently works and how to track the client window. You can see my progress here: https://bitbucket.org/regner/eve-o-preview/commits/c480aa58bbed45a5357eae53e00b9d36157b693b

Again, I am REALLY bad at this stuff... so please feel free to laugh away. Hopefully this evening though I can get something decent working.

Not sure if the OP is still around, but I submitted a pull request over lunch for a new feature. Will see if he responds. :)

Looks good FoxFour. I compiled and am now using your branch. Tried to make a trackbar which would adjust the preview based on a percentage of the client window but decided that simply resizing it with "show preview frames" checked is far simpler.

I'm going to see if I can pin down this crashing issue I keep getting when I close the last client in the list. Every time it crashes I am not debugging. Oh well. I'll find it eventually.

Hey they have a great program that does this already and it's profoundly better at it. You may have heard of it. It's called ISBOXER.

But ISBoxer is a service and not a product, no? You can only rent it?

Also an opensource alternative can't hurt.

This. Open source alternatives are nice to have around. :D
