whatever happened to making an escape in a fast shuttle from a dire situation from your battleship or a cruiser, if you could escape in a frigate with a few weapons functions it would be more realistic, it would have to be a new form of pod that only works with bigger ships, like a big fat pod that has more functions other than warping away

I've escaped for years, in a small ship that carries my clone. It can warp and use Stargates.

Isn't technology a wonderful thing. Cool

Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the Lions will ignore you in the Savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless.

so you like flying naked in space basically. not very realistic view on how escaping should be

Are you suggesting I put and use warp drives up my arse? Shocked

That is actually the current situation believe it or not, the engine is under your arse in the pod.

The differences between under and up are something you should explore before going anywhere near arses.

-1 in eve you need to work for your second chance not just have it handed to you when you pop

No thanks. The pod is defenseless and instant-align as it should be. If you lose a fight, you lose a fight, also this would be a pain for e.g. assault frigate pilots who just took out your BS/BC due to its poor tracking.

Why exactly would I want to be ejected from my ship into a shuttle that has a longer align time into warp than my pod does?

I'm not trying to look stylish, I'm trying to gtfo. I don't see how a shuttle or other small ship with an additional second of align time to get out benefits me in any way whatsoever.

Your "realistic" view is based on the fact that every sci-fi thing you've seen has people escaping from spacecraft in other spacecraft because of space.

Well ... the pod is a spacecraft. Are we done now?
