Dec. 21st, YC 116, One More Night of Roc: The Rocpocalypse

You wanna talk to Roc? 300 Million ISK is starting bid. Talk to Nina Vull for more information. 5 spots only. We will now simply accept any donations of ISK you may want to give. ISK donated will go towards future events planning.

This will be taking place during the "Vapor Trail" event....

One pilot, on the toughest mission of any capsuleer's long existence, to fly the Vapor Trail will take you to the edge of your skills. Each waypoint gets harder as you will have to fight through everyone in New Eden. Last man standing that delivers the goods has a shot of at least 1 Billion ISK regardless of entrance fee.

Paying participants will have a shot of at least 3 billion in prizes and ISK. The Vapor Trail event is being postponed currently due to new intelligence reports received. However, it will take place after the turn of the year. Time and place TBD.

However, I would like to go ahead and link the GalNet address of Mr. Wieler, so if you're curious about the former Colonel Freedom Fighter and his current award winning musical career ( 2 Luminaire Globe Awards for "One Night with Roc"), this is the place to navigate to learn more about the man.

Look, I may not be the most polite person in the cluster, nor the most hip, so answer at your own indulgence.

Who is this Roc Wieler today, and why should any of us care? Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be rude - which is unusual for me. I'm actually curious.

See, from my perspective here, this is a man who's name was well known several years ago, who accomplished great and dangerous things several years ago. By the wording of the Original Post, the 'return' of Roc Wieler suggests he was gone. Gone from what?

Did he stop flying? Did he fall out of fame? Did he stop performing - or doing whatever it is he used to do? Why is he returning now, and why do his past achievements still demand respect?

What exactly -are- his accomplishments? What can he lay claim to other than booze and various women? What is his biggest boast? Kill/death ratios? Racing timescores? A fattened wallet? Unusual genitals? I mean seriously, what's the big deal with this man, and how does it apply to anything going on today?

Don't get me wrong. Welcome back and everything, Mr. Wieler... but who the **** are you?

Well, GZS is not a for profit venture. All ISK turned into our possession returns to the capsuleer community with events. I handle all the ISK and I'm more than willing to share our income and outtake of ISK at any time. I'm sure the very good pilots will know how to tell if I'm skimming the books. Which I can't do.
