Bad enough the federation is threatened by "one of those" politicians who will be putting "what you are" ahead of capability. We've have enough of that crap in RL we don't need it here.

Honestly, I'm totally happy with news stories instead of events, if it means that CCP can do something for the election.

So HUGE question for CCP.

Granted I am not a Gallente role-player, so my opinion wouldn't matter much in this matter lore-wise, BUT:
Are the actions of players in game and especially the postings of Gallente players in IGS going to in any way influence what is going on with this election? I know the capsuleer population is relatively minor compared fo the regular population and IGS a fraction of the capsuleer population, but politics are influenced by money and capsuleers have lots of it, and I would think SOME capsuleers would have notoriety planetside that would make people listen to what they say about who should be elected.
