Show forum likes on characters in game

Just a thought. What would be the consequences/effects/advantages of showing forum like status in game?

If players had the ability to dislike as well as like it could provide a an indicator of a players general public standing to other players. Or it could be manipulated to be meaningless.

What does CCP think?

I don't know what CCP thinks (sometimes I wonder if they even think) but I can tell you that the like system is absolutely pointless as a judge of whether posts are good or not.


Really, if the like system was removed, would we be better off? The answer is yes.

CCP mostly sucks at their job, but Veritas is a pretty cool dude.

I treat forums and in-game as two different things. I don't think there should be any connections, cause it may lead to harassment, trolling, spamming, etc.

Anyway, don't most of the active posters use forum-alts?

They already got rid of useful information like viewing someone's standings, 'Forum likes' come well below this info imho.
