In which way is it any different from MTU or other deployables? Could anyone explain CCP's reasoning on making hitting this particular deployable a criminal offense that requries Concord intervention?

Is it a bug? The wiki says here that it should only give a suspect timer.

Thanks

Got me.

I like them but the damn things do clutter up space, especially around the trade hubs.

Everything in EVE is a trap.

And if it isn't, it's your job to make it a trap...:)

You want to know what immorality in EVE Online looks like? Look no further than Ripard "Jester" Teg.

No idea, it may be worth raising a ticket to see if it's bugged, especially as the wiki says it only incurs a suspect flag.

lol true enough, although the original mobile structure dev blog did say that shooting mobile structures would only ever incur a suspect flag, whether or not that's changed I don't know.

It's their official wiki and it's locked for editing... reliability should be expected in that case.

Try petitioning it.... that will get you a reliable answer.

As others said, a support ticket is recommended. It doesn't sound right to me either.
