i'll buy your fit carrier for 500 mils. Seems fair, them being dead and all.

Obvious troll that won't accept the deal.
If anyone offers you more than 150m you're getting trolled or scammed.

Oh noes! My carrier jump range got nerfed! Now I can't drop surprise triage!

Thank god. Now people will have to actually take some risks.

Whilst triage may not be as present, I believe this will increase the level of subcap fleet fights. It will be fun.

You were ahead of your time naming your character - I demand you run a Thanatos Marathon event running 26 lowsec gates in Thanatoses!

I'll even donate a cyno jammer to the winner.

Just move closer to your targets (next door is the best imo).

And if no station next door?

Then roam slowly with your carriers.

Have you heard nothing of the force projection adjustment in progress?? It's all the rage in the features and ideas discussion.

I'm buying carriers if you're selling. Also I'm interested in your clapping video if you have the time to youtube it.

granted can move through gates but imagine doing that with a roam, not a viable option in my opinion you would not be able to travel very far with a carrier lagging behind

If you don't want to bring the UBER guardian, you can also bring regular ones. Hinthint.

So now actually seeing how small the jump range of the carrier is, does this mean the death of triage?

there is no range for carriers to jump in support of ships if needed, unless defending home systems the carrier is just luckily parked in.

Was this intended or an oversight?

how about you WARP your carrier trough gates alongside your fleet and use the jump drive as a get AWAY method instead?

^ this

it honestly is not that much of a hindrance.. jump through gate throw 3 webs on carrier it insta warps and really isn't much slower than the battleships. we jumped 8 jumps chasing a t3 gang and the carrier kept up fine... we then got into enemy dread range and triage got blapped, but thats eve. you are just being lazy and wanting the force projection mechanics that were ruining this game...

since the patch we can actually take our bs's out because we don't have to worry about power blocs instantly dropping 30 supers with sub cap support. Eve is fun again IMO. when tears are only comming from null power blocs.. ccp did something right... for once

Roaming in slow Battleships. Ughh....so painful . I participated in a BS roam this weekend and several pilots got ganked by Snuff simply because people couldn't follow directions.

im no expert, but i have seen titans move great distances after phoebe.

Then why moving carriers should be a problem?

just smash that damn warp to gate button.

The carriers could still lag behind a bit even in the event of a roam, yeah it's a bit risky, they may get tackled. They'll hold their own until the fleet gets back to them.

Keep in mind they still have some jump range so even if they're a couple of jumps behind and a fight kicks up, pop a cyno and get them into the fight.

Because your mum just couldn't say no.

Triage carriers aren't dead.

Dropping triage carriers on any little fight from half of New Eden away on 5 minutes notice is dead.

They are still being used locally and strategically to good effect.

Building enough carriers is going to take a while.
