Era of Triage now dead?

So now actually seeing how small the jump range of the carrier is, does this mean the death of triage?

there is no range for carriers to jump in support of ships if needed, unless defending home systems the carrier is just luckily parked in.

Was this intended or an oversight?

Since carriers can now use jump gates, they can still move with the fleet over long distances and provide triage when needed.

What has been prevented is surprise triage, where a carrier unexpectedly joins a fight after it begins.

granted can move through gates but imagine doing that with a roam, not a viable option in my opinion you would not be able to travel very far with a carrier lagging behind

Just move closer to your targets (next door is the best imo).

Then roam slowly with your carriers.

Era of triage has been reborn since you're less likely to get some surprise loving from random supers or dreads that are bored stiff.

This makes EVE more realistic.... fighting near your own base of supply is easier. The further from home you are fighting, the more difficult your logistics will be...

I will only lead roaming fleets from my home of Vlillirier to Hikkoken (3 jumps) as that is the max range that I can drop triage. I will not engage any targets beyond Hikkoken

Question: How many places in eve don't have 2 stations within 5AU?

Confirming we'll still be dropping carriers for triage to save our super shiny T3 Fleets, because organizing Guardian pilots is hard.

that is a good point! Damn Logi pilots, until they fix a benefit for flying logi in fleet fights they are hard to come buy especially decent ones with the know how

Yes, Triage is dead. Please sell your carriers and carrier-characters for a low price to make sure you liquidate them before noone wants to buy them anymore.
