Hi,

I´m back to the game after 18 months, i killed rats for money , but i saw in recruitment that every corporation promise lot of ISK in no time if you ratting in their systems. Is this true now? i mean, i remember well, the big rats i saw give 1,8m bounty , are the ratting a good option in these days?

=)

Ratting hasn't changed that much as far as I know most corps are probably useing it to attract members usually for corps that rent.

Always willing to help all you have to do is ask, though if you're in the other fleet I may not help the way you want. Just a heads up. Pub Channel: Lost Souls Trading Post

Are renter ratters allowed to keep officer spawns?

There isn't really much your landlords could do to prevent you from keeping them.

Belts in lowsec have a chance to spawn clonesoldier rats which drop tags that can be used to repair your security status.
Some of those tags are quite expensive.

You don't need a super fancy ship to take them down. Assault frigs or T1 cruisers should do the job just fine.

Force full API compliance for all renters and run weekly checks on the wallet transaction descriptions. If the name of an officer rat is found in a bounty payment then the offending character is immediately kicked if this rat was not declared to and killed by the landlord.

more than that, that's where the mordus legion bpc's come from.
iv been working ours for a couple of days now and as luck would have it , one of my alliance mates stumbled onto the spawn and bagged an Orthus bpc worth about 300millEvil

They primarily mean that if you are in fleet, in intel channels and on comms its less likely you get ganked. So you lose less ships. And make more ISK. Simple really.

They can hit quite hard, so use a faction specific tank if you want to bag them. Payouts are very nice though. 4mil is the starting point for one tag on open market, and the tag grades go up from there. Easy isk if you come prepared.

I make a decent amount of ISK ratting in null. Most of the time I rat solo in a T3, I get between 10-15m/tick. I loot/salvage everything, reprocess any low-value loot and use those minerals to produce certain items that I sell. The production gained by making rigs from salvage and items from reprocessed loot makes the ISK gain skyrocket.

I don't make capital ships, so I don't need a ton of minerals, but most of my industry needs are served by reprocessing low value ratting loot instead of mining.

Same here, but then in lowsec. I feel you can get a comparable ISK / Hr out of it if you take into account things such as Clone tags and Mordus spawns. It is less dependent on bounty ticks and moreso on luck and oppurtunity. By reprocessing I reduce the amount of minerals I need to haul in order to build pirate ships, and salvaging large PVE pockets / anoms ensures a steady stream of T1 rigs for PVP. That being said I am often too lazy to salvage as I find the task induces RSI when done manually, and "ratting" is something I'd typically do when there are no more profitable DED sites to be ran and I'm low on Clone tags.
