Nebulas become brighter to create a better light environment in the game.

Please make sure to ask the UI team to extensively test, when the art team makes these sorts of changes.

Making background items brighter tends to wash out semi-transparent parts of the UI - for example, the capacitor level.

loooooooooooooooooooooool

I love seeing CCP do things that people have asked for repeatedly, over the years, over many threads where they were told "no, CCP will never do this".

It happened with freighters and rig/low slots. It happened with jump clone timer reduction skills. It's happening now with the skill queue changes.

some good stuff ... no ship balancing??? module tiercide???

after the first round of module Teiricide I'm not sure I want to see more quite yet.

I would tend to agree - the results from the first round of module tiericide were disappointing.

There is still no reason to buy or use T1 versions of most of the rebalanced modules, which means that there still is no reason to build them. With regards to stats, the T1 versions are still inferior, leaving skill reqs and price as the only possible reasons for players to use them - and the skill reqs for metas and T2 modules aren't high enough to be much of a barrier against their use. Nor are price differences, esp. on very cheap modules like cargo scanners.

And, in most cases, consolidating the frequently-dropped metas generally resulted in an even larger number of the new, single meta being available, resulting in market saturation, with the price dropping quickly after initial speculation back down to the reprocessing value - which is cheaper than the build cost of the T1 version. The primary exception to the rule is the MAPC, but this is only because the meta MAPCs have always had a low NPC drop rate, which keeps the price of the metas above the T1 version build cost. The only markets where meta prices on saturated items are still high are due to deliberate market manipulation by sellers.

Module tiericide needs to include changes to the T1 module BPOs, as well as to the reprocessing values and drop rates of the metas. It would also probably be better if T1 modules had at least one stat advantage over the metas and T2 versions, even a minor one.

I hope that no announcement of further module tiericide for Phoebe means that CCP has indeed decided to spend more time on figuring out how to do it properly, rather than attempt to rush it along. Esp. with the 6 week cycle, it makes more sense to take the extra time to do it right the first time around.

Hopefully Cloaking is on the horizon there. Not that I've ever been ecstatic about changes to the mechanic, but wow, the threadnaught that will erupt will just be to much fun.

Data and Relic sites found in Null Security Space will also be present in wormhole Class 1-3 systems. An upcoming blog will describe the changes.

Any chance for a sneak peak at this and whether or not these null-sec Data/Relic sites in WH space will include sleepers as the current WH data/relics do?

For this release they will be the exact same as they are in Null Sec.
Doesn't mean that they won't change in the future however.
Also, the dev blog should be out soon regarding this change.

Thank you! I've always felt bad when i had to ignore relic and data sites in wormholes when searching for a null sec entrance.

CCP Seagull! You're the best. You seem like the driving force behind the regular content updates and the improvements for content that hasn't been updated in years.

I love:

*Skill que changes
*Travel Changes
*Assortment of other good stuff that I can't remember.

Please could you keep working on updating and upgrading missions.

Maybe something like:

*Timed/speed missions for level 4s. Second and third gate would lock after certain time has passed Doesn't have to be frigate missions. Could be timed missions for Battleships.
*Update the mission interface, maybe do an industry type job on it.

Can't think of anything else but I am sure you have some better ideas.

It's a bit closer than on the horizon. Apparently cloaked ships on Sisi are now decloaking each other.

as you could sub 1 month game time leave the queue on for 500 days and resub 6 months later

or will it just stop as you run out of sub as i tihnk it should stop if someone as not payed the game time

So c1-3 gets more sites... but does it mean there will actually be more of them, or just that they will spawn at random from larger list of possibilities and total number available at all time will to run remain the same?

Unlimited skill queue?! Multisell?!?! This is going to be a great expansion!

Exploration changes have me torn. I love exploration so changes are great, but now the sites will be flooded by people looking for some easy money (again). Better go get an Astero.

How much herp could a herp derp derp if a herp derp could herp derp.

Nah, i was thinking more the whole "cloaking uses fuel" sort of deal that people against AFK Cloaking have been going on about for a long time now.
