some good stuff ... no ship balancing??? module tiercide???

after the first round of module Teiricide I'm not sure I want to see more quite yet.

as for ship balancing I think they have a few larger passes to do, like Recons and tech 3s. would like to see those, but hey they just did a few minor balance passes in the last patch. don't really mind waiting a tad bit longer. The pace of balancing is far more awesome that it used to be.

Skill queue change is nice; ty.

And - just taking the opportunity to remind you to TEST OVERVIEWS THIS TIME AND MAKE SURE THEY DON'T GET HAMMERED BY YOUR CHANGES...

(And yes....I am still annoyed over that one)

Biggest problem atm, with 'train skills you can't inject yet', is that you can train any skill you have injected, even if you don't meet the prerequisites. That's a side effect of the skill changes for ships changing prereqs.

Some solution to this would be nice, but harder than it might sound.

What if the injection of a skill was something you could queue?

lol

But for me it's a god send because I play EVE on a computer so old that there are guys using Commodore 64s who look at me and say "bro, you need to upgrade". Having to log in different accounts to change skills every day is a pain in the backside, now there will be less of that.

Will you still need the prerequisite skills trained before being able to inject new skillbooks.. or will we be able to add the new skillbooks to the queue as long as the prerequisite skills are in the queue?

This needs to be asked in order to secure my excitement.

edit: guess you kinda answered it somewhat maybe...

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Since the new and smart release change, CCP keeps delivering consistently good mix of features, improvements, game fixes.. Congrats Seagull and teams, and keep up the good job, breathing some new life in Eve!

I look forward to read more about the stealth bomber changes, and it is nice to see the Dscan and scan windows separated. Like the cool down timer, that shows that making suggestions on the forums is not being ignored, and removing the artificial pain points like unlimited skill queue is only good for everyone, veterans and newbies alike...

Kudos Big smile

Not to be negative but "Nebulas become brighter to create a better light environment in the game." Does that mean we need to upgrade our dark glasses a shade or two when playing EVE?

C5/C6 don't really need it nor does it cater to their playerbase.

It would not be a significant source of income for established groups. However, leaving C5 and C6 PVE content solely to large groups is dumb, and inviting more players to explore the most dangerous regions of space by actually putting solo exploration content in there is a good thing.

A way to import a skill plan from evemon that then adds the skills to the queue would be amazing if its possible.

Kinda like the ability to import fittings from eft but for skills.

I would love you long time if that were possible Big smile

Terrific expansion

  • Skill Queue !
  • Compass Display
  • Collapse the top view of Indy panel
  • Bookmark short cut

Will prob like this too:

  • Mission Objectives Guidance
  • Brighter Nebulas (immersion always a plus)
  • New sounds for structures (immersion always a plus)

The nullsec travel nerf is only 50% of cool, since you kept JF basically the same. Harder logistics are key to more local farmers - which is essential to Indy and Miners getting respect/help from pvpers only. Not to mention the drama of supply shortages, counter attacking enemy's resources, etc. Was looking forward to seeing players adapt.

Brighter Nebulas

what nebulas? The clouds in missions or something else? (i mean.. how could those clouds be even brighter as they are now?!)

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value
