Just another point of interest to me; Most people agree that the patch is 'required/not a bad idea' on some level or another. Furthermore most people want to eve plunge into chaos, which is in many ways is great, more fights more fun. But as any nullsec pilot will know, evacing ones stuff is an issue. And if true chaos does return to Eve, and sov changes hands constantly, it will become difficult to evac with current proposed jump restrictions. (dont get me wrong, I am mostly for the jump nerfsss) but evaccing already sucked before, imagine how much it will suck now.....

That's not a bad point. Not really sure where feedback should be aimed at the moment but when you get a chance make sure to push that point.

These changes are aimed at making it better for smaller corps and this plays right into that.

Nice to see some constructive thinking instead of rage quitting (even though the rage quitting is fun to laugh at)

Leaving JF range untouched would help with this.

I have removed a rule breaking post and those quoting it.

The Rules:
4. Personal attacks are prohibited.

Commonly known as flaming, personal attacks are posts that are designed to personally berate or insult another forum user. Posts of this nature are not beneficial to the community spirit that CCP promote and as such they will not be tolerated.

The "...this will only make us more powerful..." "...but you should really change this lame idea..." thing has been entertaining to watch you must admit.

I'd call it cognitive dissonance.

But to be nice, it's got to be hard keeping up with The Mittani's straw grasping and desperate attempts at meta message control.

No not really.

It is hard to keep up with who has --totally been revived and is about to destroy the cfc (after the patch)-- though.

Even more interesting than THAT will be watching the CFC internal conflicts after group A doesn't show up to rescue group B because :too far:, :too much fatigue: and group B says "Hey, why are we blue with them again?" or "See if we show up to help those a-holes".

One little thing I'd like out of these changes is Command Center BPOs.

Hauling enough of them around to get our newbs making ISK in null is already a giant PITA because their volume:cost ratio is kinda crazy and there's always something more useful to haul. After these changes getting Command Centers out into (not even that deep) null will be super expensive/almost not worth it.

Could we get BPOs so that we can build them in null?

This is probably true.

How does bailing out at page 200 and then remaining silent contribute to the "community spirit that CCP promote", as a matter of interest?

I'll say it again: JFs should not get preferential treatment in terms of range over other capitals. Yes, null is currently totally dependent on empire to fuel their industry. Yes, decreasing range means that JFs will need to take risks by taking regional gates if they want to avoid soul crushing jump fatigue.

These are good things. The ease with which a small number of players can keep a large corp / alliance supplied in the deepest areas of null is one contributing factor to the stagnation of nullsec. It should not be a simple matter to build the largest ships in the game in the farthest end of null almost entirely from imported materials.

I understand this will be a shock to the system, but it's also effing stupid that logistics is this easy.

-1 to keeping JF range unnerfed.

Have you ever parked an Iteron next to a POCO? Have you ever considered that it makes no sense that an object that large should fit so easily inside the cargo hold of the small ship next to it?

Why is it possible for ships to carry enough unrefined material to build themselves, much less with compression enough material to create objects many times their own size? How does that make any sense?

None of that makes sense. But if logi were "real", it would be unbearable. Hundreds of times more trips would be necessary to build anything. I mean, real logi would be a real industry supporting thousands of 40-80 hr/week careers.

This is a game.

Logi should be a part of the game that adds to the overall strategic nature of EVE that separates it from Star Citizen or any other "dogfights in space" type game. It shouldn't be so hard that certain players actually have to make a job of it for anything to get done.

Why would you be discussing handbags on the DUST forums?

Also I'd like to express my concern over BLOPS range nerf so this isn't off-topic.

Have you ever wondered how a hot air balloon fits into a small trailer?

Wait... what??

Double negatives hurt my head :(

Devs are nothing more than machines that turn coffee into code. The quality of the code is inversly proportional to the quality of the coffee.

What did you expect him to do? He already said everything he had to say. If they are gona make changes that will be after they take decisions. If they did not take any new decisions yet, writing anything here would be a waste of time and just cause stir up.

You realize how ballons are a bit different from a structure that can take shots from dreadnoughts for quite some time before breaking? :P
