Great stuff. I would love to see bookmarks in the overview, though. Maybe colour them to differentiate from public locations. Being able to use hotkeys to align and warp to a safe would be tremendously useful.

many don't know that you can actually open a window listing all your bookmarks by double clicking a folder in your P&P window.

If you could configure this window to only show the bms which are in system we would have the same effect as having them in overview, minus distance information.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

This is great stuff guys!

I found only one little issue. Sometimes menu for managing what compass shows covers whole ships HUD. I have three possible solutions:
- make menu to show only if one hover on top (or bottom if HUD is aligned to top of screen) half of compass
- add bit more delay before menu shows up
- add option to HUD to hide this menu permanently

I think first is best, it doesn't cripple usability much and solves problem. Last one could be very annoying because you would have to "unlock" compass menu every time you want to change something.

It took me some time to read the article since I had to jump around the room a few times upon reading that bookmarks would appear in the system overlay.

Very nice! Thank you!

Now your next challenge: have the "compass rose" expand out to become the tactical overlay when we activate that feature. Activate tactical overlay, the various tick-marks become "dots on poles" around the border of the tactical overlay's 250km radius disc.

Perhaps I've been spending too much time around OS X and iOS 7/8, but those icons in the system overlay are too complex for my liking. Rather than empty shapes, I'd prefer to see solid shapes like diamonds, triangles, circles, and such, with the target symbol inverse upon the shape.

Seriously though, bookmarks in space is an awesome new feature!

also, you need to fix how it picks which things to show from clusters....atm i'm at about a 15% success rate for actually getting the GATES to show up on the brackets when i mouse over a cluster that has bookmarks near it...

How did this part make it through initial internal testing without you guys seeing it..."yeah, we can't see gates, or other important things...oh well"....i've almost lost all faith in CCP's ability to actually QA anything at this point. Unless you are hiring for QA positions...in which case, sign me up...its apparently pretty easy, and requires next to no effort...(if that offends you, well, i call it like i see it...and thats what you are showing us...

That sound? Loud static for bookmarks? Really?

All my +1s. This makes me irrationally happy.

There are great suggestions for polishes and further improvements, which CCP Lebowski has been on top of, but even without those this is a great step forward.
