Calling all ice miners!

FT Diomedes: "Reaver, sometimes I wonder what you are thinking when you sit down to post."

Frostys Virpio: "We have to give it to him that he does put more effort than the vast majority in his idea but damn does it sometime come out of nowhere."

I think its really cool that bridging recon cruiser takes more fuel then jumping a blops :D

Makes sense :) would make titans and supers more of a home defense that active force you can use to run around all the eve easily.

Dig it.
Do it.
+1

On a long enough timeline, the life expectancy of everyone drops to zero.

Hello.

Currently there is no split between ship sizes.
Right now fuel consumption for travelling 1 Ly on all V jump drive skills looks like this :

Non Combat:
Jump Freighter : 775 isotopes
Ronqual : 500 isotopes

Combat:
Carrier : 500 isotopes
Dreadnought : 500 isotopes
SuperCarrier: 500 isotopes
Titan: 500 isotopes

Stoping right there I've been flying carriers for many years and unless I'm the subject of a constant bug carriers ( at level 5 jump skills ) use 810 per Ly not 500.

This is easily figured out in game when you undock and look at the information of your ship.

Broken math and bad information is just bad.

This post was made before fuel consumption changes.

If we connect their mass to fuel usage, then each ship in a fleet could burn different amount of fuel , and i don't think that CCP is willing to accept this level of complexity in this game.

I don't say that this is good or bad , still it could be to much complex.

Right because the initial jump fatigue formulas 'aren't complex', right? Roll

Last time I checked, if a formula doesn't need a spreadsheet to figure out the results, then it won't be considered for development.

+1 on the OP's idea.

I like this a hell of a lot more then the current mechanics, i wouldnt even be opposed to a pretty big fuel cost hike across the board... atleast for combat caps, not sure about the flat logis ships like rorqs and JFs...

This suggestion is pre jump drive changes .
Stuff proposed by CCP is far more better.

I think this change would fit in nicely along with the other changes. Now's the time to get it in!
