are the GM aware that the general incursion community is being griefed by a hostile group that has been shutting down high sec mom sites?

it would be interesting for CCP consider to impose bans/penalties for entities that continually disable in game features, block hundreds of other players from playing it, yes? no?

then again, going by CCP standards, if this is allowed, then its like forcing everyone to re-train themselves into terrorists of sorts in every aspect of the game to prey on every single other pilot. what is next level? improvement in graphics will not make this any better you hear me?

1. Wrong Forum.
2. It's not griefing, it's designed game play that the mom site can be run.
3. If you are referring to the recent TVP/ISN conflict, try taking your bias goggles off on who you call 'hostile'

This is eve, no one is supposed to hold your hand and you are not supposed to be entitled to anything except the undock button.

Running sites like they are supposed to be run is griefing now? What's next, will mission runners be griefing too because they blitz missions too fast?

Or hey, I've heared miners grief other miners by sucking asteroids too fast. Maybe CCP should do something about that.

Well....

letting the mothership lager for days while farming sites does appear to be a bit broken. Were it up to me, I would have not set up the mechanics of HQ and the mothership like that.

I have said for years that the best way to grief highsec (and indirectly the nullseccers who run highsec incursions on alts) would be to pop the mothership when it appears.

So I would say the problem was already in place before these "hostile actors" came into the scene.

Got to know your history before complaining about this issue tbh.

The incursion sites are an automated continuation of the Sansha Live events, where the purpose was to stop Sansha's Nation asap.

But ever since people figured out incursion sites, they had let live the mothership as long as possible, contrary to the purpose of doing incursions (stop Nation asap). This resulted in a case where players get very rich for low effort (PvE is low effort, despite the high entrance cost for incursions). Gamewise, it allowed Sansha's Nation raiding dozens of worlds, only opposed in a few sites, allowing them to gather the manpower & resources to continue their attacks.

If you want to know more about the Sansha Live events and how they tie in with incursions, you can read this article I wrote about them: When nightmares turn reality: The Sansha invasion written from an ingame perspective.

But in short: destroying the mothership site asap is not a bug, it's the intended feature, got to stop Nation before they corrupt it all. Also, if you really dislike what this group does, nothing stops you from organizing a group of people to fight them. Even deploying a group of cheap gankships can be enough to disrupt what they are doing.

My old self, Solstice, once thought out the brilliant idea of running lvl4 missions
of other capsuleers faster than themselves.

Dodixie was the perfect place for that,
because of a minimum time spent probind them out.

My old, slightly pimped, high RoF Artillery cane did an exceptionally well job at that.

Those gratefull bastards!

Theorising about bans, or asking for them publicly because other players happen to have an other play style that is contrary to yours, is one of the surest ways to get your thread locked.

That said, if you perceive the way others behave in-game to be in any way breaking the EULA, TOS or any other of CCP's Policies, please feel free to file a Support Ticket under the relevant category.
