I like this IF the timers or fatigue are attached to the ship. It’s the ship’s jump drive that needs to cool, refuel and spin-up. The pilot was safe and warm in his capsule, it’s the same to him for a stargate, jump portal or whatever.

If attached to the pilot what’s to stop a big corp from swapping pilots mid-route to get an asset moved.

This also negates some of the unfairness that time-dilation imposes on the people in a ti-di’d system.

Capitals using gates please no. (300 man carrier roam anyone ?)
Don't affect the Jumpfreighters please.
Make the jumpdelaythingietimerstuff shipbound or we will have someone jumping their capital 5ly, eject ship, enter ship with new character, and so on.
Other then this, go ahead I approve.

Thanks in advance CCP <3

Is anyone else excited to see Null open up to the possibility of invasion by smaller groups who don't have the support of 10yr old capital pilot characters who are all rage posting about quitting the game cause "my 30 acct's are useless now"?

I for one would like to see new life breathed into this game, and I just hope that CCP really ups their game with sov changes so that if bitter vets leave (cause their massive DPS toys cant instatravel all over the "wide" galaxy) at least the vacuum might be filled by new players excited for adventure and ready to shake up New Eden by taking Sov on their own.

Let's have a spaceship game where having lots of old players (Cap pilots) in your alliance is a major asset to holding Sov, not a major requirement. Then maybe more people will get interested in playing.

TLDR: CCP please market the **** out of SOV changes, and the next developments (player stargates) so that you draw new players to Eve.

Pray tell what part of sov null you expect to be open? If anything these changes forces alliances to defend all their space with focus on systems that could be used as an invasion. Taking Fountain for example, there is ONE system in range of Hophib under the new mechanics .. good luck getting ANYTHING into that system without a forceful response.

So CCP saw it fit to kill off Blops...

Good job, CCP, good job..

Blops can be avoided and countered: be alert, stay aligned et cetera. There's no viable counter measure against cloaky camping. Please explain why killing off blops is a good thing, instead of killing off cloaky camping?

Move to the next system.
Set up a camp at the gate.
If cloaky camper follows blow up cloaky camper
If he doesn't (he probably won't - he's afk) continue with carebearing

Problem solved.

So what about people who live in 00? what kind of bullshit is this to the people who live deep in nullsec? how are they supposed to move anything around? What about those that live in the npc nullsec?

First you make it cost more to do jumps now your going to cut our jump range by a third and add a timer...

Do you people even think?

you're right.

unless there's an attractive reason (read: profitable) to live at the outskirts of 0.0, people are just gonna hug empire.

Nope. We actually love the idea of fighting BNI on even terms, without the PL batphone dropping 20 supers to save them :P

Besides, provi borders hisec. Less than 5 LY :P

lolno.

You'll laugh Im sure, but its not my alliance losing all those docking fees and such.

I applaud these changes CCP.

Bravo. I really did not think you had it in you.

It's a brave move. And a brave move is what null needed. I hope it's the first of many.

At the very least it will shake things up a bit. Which is what this game (and the business behind this game) needs badly.

You may want to consider upping the number of entries between regions / security space.

I'm sure there will be plenty of issues and some trial and error necessary. But this is well overdue, I applaud you for having the balls to do this.

Defending Sov 101 post nerf

1) Drop Station egg if station is not already present.
2) Fill station with caps
3) Rinse and repeat for ANY system that can actually be reached by OPFOR.
4) Continue ratting and laugh at the nosovs impotent rage

There were 20 blueposts as of Greyscale's post, here, when he said he was going home.

FYI jump fatigue and jump activation timers will NOT be affected by TiDi. They will also continue running during downtime or while an account is lapsed.

in the grand scheme of things this means nothing, the fact ur adding a stupid fatigue timer in the first place is one.

so if I only get to play 1-2 hours a day and im a pilot that helps supply null then I will be stuck with fatigue meaning the game is more work than game? gj CCP.

wrong...cause we will know what systems are in range of thier "local" forces...and stay just out of range of those... already planning what systems are 5ly+ away to start the attacks, if it holds it gives us a 11min window to kill things approx

we already watch their Titans and how many are ready to bridge....only this time we know either they will be out of range...or know it will take a fixed time to reach the engagement.... of which we can plan around...

its PURE GOLD

man i cannot wait till you realize just how badly you ****** up

WHY? is it going to get any worse? we cant use any of our capital forces EVER anyway except a few ninja runs or we get blobbed off grid everytime.... we are in the midst of the CFC in a perma campaign against you.... what else are you going to do? you tried to hell camp us..so we move to another system..big deal.... you meta game us to hell.... spies and metgaming every day.... and you cant break us... so what are you going to do now? we RF an infrastructure hub in EWOK...and the CFC response..... PING for 3 days and drop a 800 man combined fleet on us.... how...in any sense can it get WORSE for us? Please tell me....

there is LITERALLY nothing you can do to make our existance worse or harder in 0.0 , we already live in the middle of the CFC..with little to no outside support...

any change is good for us..... and these changes ROCK>>>> they are pure gold....
