Yes, it probably does. We are going to look at this tomorrow to try and make this easier.

Basically we didn't fully think of all the things this would effect before suggesting it, but who cares.

Nope. Decided it was better to get feedback from players as early as possible, rather than trying to spot all the awkward cases ourselves and release a blog at the last minute. So far, it seems to be working.

a shame you didn't do the same thing with the module tiercide ... you guys have screwed that one up royally

Precisely. CCP Greyscale knows how to implement changes and make use of feedback from the community. Fozzie and Rise could do with a lesson from him with all the screw ups they've been involved in recently.

We use gates, it doesn't take long to get where we need to be.

More than enough time for all the ratting carriers to be reduced to rubble, and the MOA folks to be long gone. 20 minute trip by megathrons >> 1 minute deployment by cyno.

So who exactly is going to pay rental fees to you if you are going to be completely unable to protect them?

I kind of understand the change and it does go someway to dealing with power projection and other things (like industry in 0.0) but I don't understand the jump range nerf - I see this as cutting off some regions (like stain).

I also wonder if the fatigue should be jump range related (maybe total range over 1 week or something) to limit power projection. To deal with those to come back to the game with their assets in deep 0.0, I would suggest a bigger allowance to those that haven't jumped in over 1 month or something.

So far the only thing that has crashed sub numbers in this game is caused by a giant blue donut..... But yeah, i guess goons feel the need to blame ccp for that one as well.

Not a single **** was given to the ammount of goon tears in here.

Just to point out, this change just gave us a huge advantage.

Not sure if you'r actually beliving what Mittens have been telling you guys, or if you, unlike the rest of the guys in your alliance just has way less understanding of how things work, but it seems a lot of eve is willing to prove you wrong.

Larger entities can't siege????? You are joking right, as it's the larger groups that place most the caps on the markets. Not to mention a few of these entities have the funds to straight up produce alliance level caps, which they hand out to cap pilots. If you think I am joking just understand, many alliances give full replacements and offer bonuses if you have this or that. Also caps use to be an alliance level ship, controlled by said group, given out for use as needed. Thus many players know how to setup catches and control how they are used.

I for one hate this plan, but when it goes active will laugh as I will likely be flying a borrowed carrier and dread into most future fights. So less risk for me and you still get stomped on.

You are completely right but I was talking about w-space.

Thinking about it, I actually look forward to carrier roams now.

It will cut off possibly a few regions, which is a good thing. Atm everything is just an amalgamated blob without any regard for the geography of the galaxy.

Funny thing is that this not only screws everyone already living in null but it discourages anyone from being able to move there from the safety of hi-suck. All you idiot carebears only think its a good idea because of your sheer monumental ignorance of null-life.

I offer every comment to the contrary as evidence of that ignorance.

Carebears, how will CCP pay thier own staff when the big blocs mass-exodus from EVE and starve CCP of literally thousands of dollars a month in sub fees and plex-my-capital purchases. You can't have a game if the lions-share of subscribers leave the game permanently. .....and NO Mr. High Sec Miner, im so very much not referring to YOU as "the lion-share" of subscribers, lol
Im just gonna put the tip in, just for a moment, just to see how it feels....

It's like the people are not knowing what they are talking about. Maybe they should read the CFC renter agreement. *g*

"Protection
You are responsible for the defense of your systems against roaming gangs, gankers, and the like. While many CFC pilots enjoy small gang PvP and may turn up on their own to shoot people roaming in rental space, we do not provide organized protection against anything but an invasion aimed at taking sov."

I can see what you see not - vision milky then eyes rot. When you turn they will be gone - whispering their hidden song.

We dont depend upon our super fleet. From the moment this hits our massive subcap numbers and deployment of our sigs across our empire will show.

So 3 things

Jump bridge structures should not be effected or effected far less. Subcaps and caps useing them should be a thing as they are already short range and have fuel cost, and they are stationary.

Secondly the death-clone station thing. You should ALWAYS have the option to deathclone to your newplayer starting station. This is simply a preservation of a out if things go horribly wrong.

Third. With the range and time decreases caps will HAVE to be able to access highsec. It doesn't matter if you put limits on their ability to use any modules or even jump out from highsec. They HAVE to be able to use it simply to move in any realistic fashion, because the layout of the actual space does not support this change.

Things to note.

The range is way to short. 7.5 light years would be more realistic.

Fatigue should have a max limit.

Jump portals should have a reduced fatigue affect.

FINALLY!!!

Faster for caps to use gates, but still retains the hotdrop....
PL/CFC won't be able to control the entire map.....
No more instant logistics from any point in EVE to Jita.....
Less worry that a cruiser in low-sec will be hotdropped....

GJ CCP, now fix sov so that noone can't own half the systems in EVE.

Overall, good stuff, but you better get out the sandbags to hold back the flood of tears!

Yep it's impossible to smartbomb/bomb interceptors.

it seems you don't know what pipebombing is and have shamed yourself and your family by posting something stupid, and have now decided to double-down by hoping nobody else does either

go home, child

Pipe bombing and smart bombing gate camps are two COMPLETELY different things my friend. So it isn't that you point eluded anyone, it is that your point was dumb.
