No, this is dumb, and you should feel bad for saying it. Extracting capitals will work just fine, you might just need to wait a bit to move them around.

There needs to be an upper limit on fatigue, and jump cooldown. Should be a logarithmic scale and the upper limit be something like a week at most. no one wants to ruin their character with 2.43 millenia of jump fatigue.

But this... Not sure i agree. I hate logistics, it's possible the worst part of eve, yet still a complete necessity.
This makes that part even more painfull.
Alot of people use their carrier for moving between 0.0 and high-sec, for gathering supplies and / or sell stuff.. This will now be a very big timesink and who want to use 45 mins just getting to high-sec?

I dont understand why you dont make cyno's limited on numbers? - Like a given cyno can only sustain it's beacon for a limited amount of jumps.

This seems overly complicated.

Because then people will just bring more cynos...

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

As someone who remembers the days of freighter convoys, regional wars, 100 man battleship fights that were coordinated and maneuvered, the harsh unforgiving teeth gritting game that was Eve Online I finally, FINALLY have hope that CCP is breathing life anew into this game.

Eve is NOT your epeen meter. Eve is NOT about instant force projection, unabated losses without risk, rental empires without effort. Eve is supposed to BE harsh! So for all of you spoiled space brats crying that clawed to the top to sit fat and lazy upon your throne of untold billions and capital toys to only one day find that you don't control anything, that the environment and harshness of New Eden is coming back to kick you in the ass I say good riddance!

CCP don't you DARE back down or give into the kicking and screaming of those who are now afraid. They fear change to their Empires, their houses made of glass that one day someone would dare to throw a stone and have the whole frail illusion come crashing down.

Fix SOV. Implement these changes. Make Eve what it used to be. Unforgiving. Harsh. Skill based. Risky.

Finally welcome to Eve Online everyone. Enjoy the ride.

They say in space nobody can hear you scream, however the sound we all just heard from PL as they were bent over and royally screwed was deafening.

The abolition of podjumping makes it massively difficult for our newbies to join us in Deklein. Has any thought been put into that?

So, you have to look after your newbies and help them out? How dare CCP make you do this...

Glad to see more ppl are getting the drift of what this really means.

As I wrote above, it will be a horror moving subcap fleets *in your own sov* around.

Is today April 1? Capitals taking gates? Jump fatigue? These are some of the worst ideas.

How is a stagnant nullsec going to be fixed by making things take even longer than they do already? How does that make any sense at all?

Absolutely terrible.

I could not agree more.. THESE are terrible ideas. I can see this will cause alot of high time and experienced players to walk away from the game, including myself. A couple of years ago, CCP took away AOE from titans and dreads, then took drones away from dreads; then later nerfed weapons so capitals have no chance on hitting sub caps - which in turn made them vulnerable to subcaps. Recently it was bad enough that cynos have to be lite further away from POSs, now you are taking away jump dist and limiting time between jumps - this does one thing, makes capitals much more vulnerable. The state of
long distance travel" for caps is good as is.. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These ideas are potentially game breaking. Capitals are eccential for null sec life - Stop nerfing them.

Off soap box.

Would it hurt so much for you to try to fix EVE by improving something as opposed to nerfing it?

Actually , inevitably if you nerf one thing you improve something else .Or as a man in my country allways says ''Every downside has it's upside''.

'We are tying to reduce the speed of escalation of capital size enagments'

So why are you nerfing Rorquals/Jump freighters at all?

When was the last time someone jumped in their jump freighter into a capital fight?

CCP Greyscale once this is though and we wont or can't get to far away conflicts anymore were will we get our conflict you know content? What are you doing to make sure there will be local conflict? Because right now most nullsec space is not even worth fighting over much less holding it other then for renting it out? Are you going to address the fact that nullsec is especially worthless?

Also are you going to address industry? Specifically mining right now you get almost no low-minerals mining in nullsec but massive amounts of high-minerals because you are expected to ship these to highsec and sell them there and in return import compressed ore to aquire low-minerals. Now with these changes that kind of gameplay will no longer be viable how do you plan to compensate? When will you address the mexallon bottleneck? There are tons of questions. Because the after effects from this change are going to tremendous and I'm sure most people would like to know when CCP plans to address all the issues this change will create.
