Logging Off In Low Sec Space Question

Mission running in low sec., if after the timers are off and I log off in space, I know my ship warps off in a random direction but does it just sit there or is it safe? I ask because running 4/5's in low sec usually takes a long time, more than I can spare, so with work or home life I sometimes need to stop where I am and resume the next morning. Is my ship safe after logging off?

When you first logout either by disconnect or just pressing the 'X' button while in space this will cause your ship to warp 1,000,000 KM in a random direction. Once landed you will disappear within 30 seconds unless you have an aggression timer of some type. If you obtained a PVP or NPC flag you will have a 15 minute timer before your ship disappears. For this purpose I would recommend using the "logoff safely" feature. If you have anything running in the background that would prevent you from dissapearing in space you will be notified. Once all conditions are met to dissapear from the game, a timer will start counting down. Once it reaches 0, you dissapear from space. This way you are 100% sure you are not probed out during any cooldowns. When you log back in you will be in warp to the exact spot you logged off in.
