Questions for Eve Players Regarding "CODE"

So I have a couple of questions for all the denizens of New Eden.

1.) Why do miners and other pilots complain about Code?? (They're just a bunch of little girls with Destroyers..)
I mean, seriously. If you D-Scan and pay attention to what you're doing, they can't even find you.

2.) What is up with everyone trying to "find out" about Code system habits, etc????
Why does it matter? Find a nice, quiet Low-Sec system, learn the land and bring in the ISKies. Or....just read some forum posts, watch some YouTube videos, and learn to play the game.

Thanks for taking time out of your day to read this, Cheers.

(Postscript) CODE pilots, if I have offended you, please leave me a note. I will attempt to care at some point in the future. If what you do makes you happy, go for it.

If you are going to answer your own questions, why ask them?

Because there are others in the Eve Universe who can give more insight, having a partial concept pales in comparison to fully understanding an idea.

Wouldn't you agree?

What *are* you on about?

1) The miners targeted by code are in hisec. They're watching youtube cat videos, oblivious to the actual mining, and certainly not d-scanning and paying attention!

2) "Find a nice quiet low-sec sys..." BZZZZ-Wrong answer! See (1), you muppet

I don't think you have any idea about this do you. Why don't you go and do some 'active' highsec mining, let us know how it's going for you (hint: it ain't code that stops people doing it - it's boredom and shitty rewards - dscanning and paying attention, LOL).

To refute point one: You left out Battle Cruisers on occasions. You are also assuming that the people are paying attention or are there to use D.

Regarding Point Two: Because people will always want to attempt to game the system, and in hopes that they can find this magical Shangri La system.

And as for your postscript. As a code pilot you have offended me. You do not have a permit, can we discuss this?

The typical sexist attitude of a highsec miner. You think it's ok to discriminate ~50% of the population and to somehow suggest they are weak? Because that's what you did, you should be ashamed.

Posting in a stealth CODE. propaganda thread. Roll

Any real miner isn't concerned much at all by CODE. They are no different than any of the other gankers that have always been there to smash the skulls of the careless... Just with a new, slightly obnoxious RP flavor.

I find peoples distaste of the CODE absolutley baffling. If you don't like CODE. move out of their space, simple answer. I happen to know some decent space available. Join "Park Place" in game chat for details.

I agree with the OP.

Go to low or null.

In some areas its not even about being able to mine and code and its agents use a number of tactics from a noobie miner to sight and warp in to just popping anything industrial, frigate or pod that can be caught fast of enough on outbound, or inbound (if your stupid enough to AP) Ive even had lone destroyers randomly attack a very ordinary fitted battleship for no reason.

As for the dscaning for destroyers in the area, good luck with that, do you know how many people just fly destroyers for reasons other then ganking? answer alot.

As far as low and null sec. The risk vs reward isnt there as much when there are things like Noxium that can be mined in greater amounts with out having to look over your shoulder waiting on a blue to kill you, or an alliance has OMG dont undock with an afk cloaker in system. in low sec if someone comes into system you dock, if someone is already in system you dont undock. Even in wormholes ive seen the deal of "dont do anything unless you have a scout on all WH's" simply because people are afraid of their precious killboards personally and entire organizations.

Even the massive power Blocs rather import equipment rather then build it past their supers or pos fuel, as i have seen blues get ganked by blues in empire and that CTAs every day for everyone which would lead to losses of space.
