I have this feeling that LMLs are being nerfed to make RLMLs look better by comparison.

Don't be paranoid. Who would do a thing like that?
Besides, if there were any problems I have complete faith in CCP to come out and openly discuss that with their playerbase. Therefore, since the Dev's haven't acknowledged any problems at all with the splendid new RLML system, there are no problems with the splendid new RLML system. Roll

so it looks like the % damage nerf isn't relevant for people who used malkuths pre patch (most people) malkuths are actually getting a rof buff up to what limoses used to be

yet to see what the fitting is like on them though but for non-t2 launchers don't take the rof nerf at face value

That is not a "buff"for Heretic, that is nerf! ALFA damage decreased by 25% !

But wait they took away mass lol. And unless you were using Malkuth on a Heretic it is a DPS nerf even before the first reload. For long engagements a balanced change on LMLs would to slow rate of fire and decrease reload time on the odd chance you have a long engagement or want to swap munitions. Opposite of the RLML high ROF extremely long reload.

I think my favorite comments are the "lets make the interdictors capable of stopping the interdictor immune ships..."
Kinda defeats the purpose of being interdiction immune no?

Could you just fix no aggro bubbling on stations?

alright, so more death to amarr ships... ok. the heretic was arguably the worst interdictor. now it really will be the worst interdictor. fire rate to rockets? wtf thats gonna add like 20 extra DPS. rockets already shoot stupid quickly. and now with the Lml alpha potential removed from the heretic, it just cant compete. im getting tired of all the amarr ships getting nerfed to ****...

vice versa its the same way - whats the point of an interdictor if it doesnt work?
Look at 0.0, at least half of people are moving in interceptors because they are almost invincible.

Let them be immune vs. anchorable bubbles, catching ratters in bubbled systems is a very common argument from interceptor pilots, which is all fine. However a pilot actively seeking to for a ship should be able to stop it.

There shouldnt be any bubble immunity at all, to begin with. which is as stupid as for example ships being immune to guns..

I'll take "How to set up a pipe bomb" for 1000, Alex.

It seems to me that people want the counter to every ship to be the same counter for every other ship. That isn't how it works and you should all understand that.

nah. I feel I shouldnt requre a smartbombing battleship for this, this was specialized role of interdictors.

O.k. just ran the numbers on the old meta 4 missile launcher. Looks like it lost about 13% in RoF and a 12% capacity nerf and now takes 13% more heat damage while over heating. Only gains one more CPU savings in fitting. Doesn't seem like the advertised 6.6%. Were they really 15% better than every other weapon system?

Today's patch notes show "The missile rate of fire bonus on the Heretic interdictor has been fixed."
What specifically got fixed?
