Maybe im being old fashioned but when I goto the information portal I would like to see new information. Ideally things announced / that happened in the last week.

Many of the sticky's on this forum are not really new information. Some sticky's are months old such Dev blogs written on things they might be doing that have now part of the game.

This is not a dig at the people posting. The information posts are informative and well written but I think that amount time that goes by before the posts are unstuck should be reduced.


PS Thankyou to the CCP devs for making so many great features they spam there own forum :)

Nope, as this is actually a valid question on forum maintenance, not a new idea brought forward or a proposal for a new feature.
As such I have forwarded the question to CCP. Mind you I can not say if and/or when an official reaction will be given.


EDIT: I do want to point out that CCP Phantom posts a weekly summary in EVE Information Portal every week, containing all Dev Blogs, official news and Dev posts from the previous week in one handily categorized post!

A thousand times this!

I quit even looking at the information portal. It's a giant wall of STICKY blinding your eyes. And, it's like you dont even know where on the page to start, whats new? what's old? Too much STICKY, make the new stuiff obvious, clear out some of the old trash, PLEASE.

You "announce" what is going to happen.
You "report" what did happen.
I'm not interested in the latter,
and am only marginally interested in the former.

Save the bandwidth. Avoid random ideas from miners dizzy from staring at asteroids who then launch their IGB,
navigate to this forum and start "thinking".

Paradise is like where you are right now, only much, much better.
