use e-uni's wiki. its search function works properly and it's usually more informative

evelopedia tends to be slow with inaccurate info and its search function never returns what i want to see

at fanfest ccp said they were going to do some sort of 'civilopedia-like' thing in the eve client. it's my hope this turns out to be something like a dev-maintained ingame manual

That would be good to have, cos misinformation about game mechanics is not good for anyone.

EVElopedia is a bit of a mess. UniWiki is somewhat better so I'd rely on that.

Another great example of where CCP could really improve their NPE if they'd just devote resources to it .

ccp can improve the npe dramatically by simply deleting the wiki.

Key word = Possible

Which is dependent on destroying large volumes of rare NPC spawns. So now the question is what does 'Large Volumes' equate to?


Or maybe this thread is actually a stealth attempt to get CCP to re-activate those 2 Concord Agents.

Corrupting me will take infinitely more time than raising your Sec.Status above 5.00 by killing large amounts of rare NPC spawns.
That said, If the good people from YARR would ask for my assistance, I would give it to them time permitting.

On a more serious note, I have pointed CCP at the concerns raised about the actuality of parts of the EVELopedia in relation to current game mechanics. It is a concern, in all frankness, I share.
In the mean time, if people would like to help instead of only complaining from the sideline, feel free to point out to the YARR team what pages of the EVELopedia are out-of-date according to you (Their contact E-mail is at the bottom of the page). Adding what should be changed/corrected and to what would also be helpful.
And if you really want to get hands on, apply for a volunteer position in YARR yourself!
