Suggestion: Remove the duration option from market orders
Keywords: UI, Market
Notes: The only time I ever use this is on a new computer when I forget and suddenly I have a bunch of day-long market orders. If it does turn out to be useful for some reason, it would be nice to at least have the default be three months. Alternatively, it might be interesting to make broker fees scale with duration.

more timers on modules and in general please

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

  • Suggestion: Include non-displayed tags (and their contents) related to formatting, links, etc. in the character counter for MOTD and bulletin editing.

  • Note: Currently only displayed text is counted. Lots of back-end stuff contributes to an inaccurate display.

This post stems from a conversation with Sard Caid and CCP Karkur on Twitter. I'm primarily posting this so that there's a record of it. To the best of my knowledge this affects anywhere that uses the ingame WYSIWYG text editor, including possibly notes, character bios, etc.

As one example of this issue, I maintain a channel for friends to hang out in which has a quick reference MOTD containing a bunch of system and website links. The channel displays ingame as being 285/4000 characters, but has in fact had its' end chopped off due to hitting the character limit. When copy-pasted to an external editor and cleaned of the "EVE System" prefix, it's clear that 3,040 characters are being stored including the markup used for links and formatting (still not 4000 though? odd that it chopped off).

Ideally the entire editor could use a redo as it also does not always strip unused tags correctly, in multiple forms, but I realize that it would be a lot of work and feel sorry for whoever gets that task some day. For now, this Little Thing would be a major help.

  • Suggestion: append the Radial Menu with an 'Add Waypoint' option
  • Keywords: Radial Menu, waypoints
  • Notes: Setting multiple waypoints could be made much easier by using the Radial Menu, rather than just the Right-Contextual.

  • ....

    This idea could be Extended: When the user chooses 'Set Destination' on an initial location, the Radial Menu [Set Destination] option is replaced by [Add Waypoint]. That way, the next location will be added as an additional waypoint, instead of an entirely new route. There would have to be an option that accompanies this, to disable it.

    For convenience, of course.

When a lab or production facility is deployed at a POS, its settings should default to allowing corporation member usage, rather than the current where it demands the config starbase equipment and starbase fuel technician roles.

Suggestion: Remove the need to offline Silos to fill/empty them

Notes: Currently, It's a clickfest to offline and re-online each silo in turn with up to a half dozen on each POS :(

Suggestion:
Allow for the removing text entries in drop down auto-fill lists for text boxes.

Currently, everything you type in a text box (contract window (recipient, destination, notes, description), peoples and places, market search box, etc) is stored somewhere and as soon as you start typing in these boxes, the auto-fill drop down list appears. This is extremely helpful as you don't need to type the ever same words again and again ... until you make a mistake and suddenly you have 2 entries for the same purpose in the list, or 3 if you decide to change the formatting or wording. I would like to see a way where I can access these stored text strings and delete unnecessary ones.

Suggestion

Allow for drag dropping an item (eg ammo or a gun) into the "search" text field of your hanger so that it's text appears in the text field, allowing for you to search for it quickly

Suggestion: Detach the Fleet broadcast bar from the Fleet window.

Notes: Currently, you have to have the fleet window open to call for reps etc. Allow the broadcast section at the bottom of the fleet window to be detachable and set the rep buttons with a setting to increase/decrease there size.

Suggestion: Repairing ships/mods in station

Notes: Currently, Nullsec stations can be set to ZERO ISK cost to repair ships/mods. This uses a workforce that should cost. Would be a small ISK sink but should be there probably at 15% base plus and owner levied rate.

Suggestion: Add drone control range display in fitting tool
Keywords: ship info, ui, drone
Note: Currently there is no display to show what the control range of a ship is with its drone. The only way to figure this out is to launch another outside application like pyfa or EFT to find out what the control range is. Having this info displayed in the ship fitting screen within EVE would be nice to have.

how about the ability too add all a corps/alliance members too your watchlist /label and add standing in one go?

adding hundreds of members is time consuming and annoying

  • Suggestion: add an option to 'Sell All' of selected items in the hangar to the highest buyer in station (if any)
  • Keywords: Inventory, Market, orders
  • Notes: this probably isn't a 'Little Thing', but it would make short work out of an otherwise... Tedious process

  • Suggestion: Identify the owner of a mailing list
  • Keywords: Eve mail, mailing list, management
  • Notes: Currently anyone can create a mailing list and send it out to anyone, however, only the owner can control the access of the list. Currently there is no way to find out who "controls" the mailing list to request changes ect.

  • Additional enhancement: allow for control of the mailing list to be transferred to another player ( especially, when a player leaves the corp)
