Regarding Policy on the Collision of Large Spaceships

Recently, it has come into the attention of the main stream that there is now a 100% legitimate (and CCP sanctioned) way to bump a bridging titan from witihin a POS. I'm not gonna link it here, but checking any of the remotely active non-ccp moderated eve-related forums/sites will give a detailed account of this issue.

The core of the issue is this: Any group that is not the CFC, N3, or PL can no longer bridge safely due to a certain way of bumping titans. Why is this bad? It further marginalizes the non-aligned entities of eve. Being shoved further in the margins means less content for everyone. This is an issue that warrant constructive discussion.

@ISD: This post is not discussing moderation, there are no GM convos posted or linked here. It is simply discussing an issue that hurts content generation across all of eve. If there is an OPEN topic on this subject, please direct me to it. Otherwise, you're just suppressing discussion on an important topic, and that's never backfired before, right?

Why? The issue isn't going to go away if it gets locked, and it affects most everyone in one form or another. Likewise, I've broken no rules. If this is a duplicate thread, direct me to the correct OPEN thread, please.

Could one not argue, the Titan bridges themselves are detrimental to the health of eve as a whole? I guess that's a matter of perspective as is your issue. Blink

Absolutely, but the direct consequence of this issue is that 3 groups in all of eve can bridge safely, and the others cannot. In my view, that's a problem for the health of the game as a whole.
