channel MOTD -- Fleet Advert

problem is when i post my fleet advert in a channel that I own people cant join it because I have to manually make everybody "good standing" or "excellent standing"

to encourage fleets to form, please make it easier for channel owners to post their fleet advert in their own chat channels.

how?
make a new button in "channel settings window" that will make everybody currently in channel "good standing" or "excellent standing" for a 24 hour period

in a social game like eve its extra important to make it highly accessible for people to join fleets "on the fly" and not having to make much effort

Why did you post then ?

Joke aside, you can drag and drop from channel to fleet, there is no need to edit anyone for standings.

Further more, if your idea would be valid, anyone can join the channel anyway and thereby your fleet , which makes the requirement redundant.

If your channel is with a pasword .. why do those that have a password to your channel not also have good standings - which makes the change redundant.

So again - why did you post ?

Don't quote me on this, but I am pretty sure this can already be achieved by setting the fleet to "no standing", then just linking it into the chat channel.

Fleet advert does need some work though, in a few other ways. Mainly it should be starting with the fleet automatically if saved to do so, and it shouldn't be resetting the advert when you change standings with a single player, nor when the last person besides the booster leaves fleet.
