Or just any good pubs?

^^ Aye, the Trip is definitely worth checking out. Reasonable ale selection for Nottingham and chock-full of history (if you fancy that sort of stuff...Blink).

I'm going straight from train station to here Friday morning, then checking out the castle and the caves, then checking in to hotel. heh. Then evening, I'm not sure if something's happening Friday night for those there early, but we can only find out :P
