I'm aiming for tomorrow for a beta release as I still need to look at recycling and invention. Manufacturing in BPCalc looks to be working well so I'll need to do some testing on that, especially if you have production jobs that need upgrading.
Be aware that the IndustyJobs API doesn't return productTypeID and productTypeName for any activity (it was supposed to return that info for Invention and RE only). I have informed CCP FoxFour about it but it looks like he's heavily busy there at CCP.
Thanks for the heads-up.

Desmont,

While this an EVE HQ thread, please allow me to express deep gratitude for the work you do in EveMon. It is also an invaluable tool. Thank you.

Drailen,

Take the time you need. I am thrilled that EveHQ will return and am happy to wait with the knowledge that it is being addressed.

how is it to be released??

also thank you very much for doing this

As I slipped my finger slowly inside her hole, I could immediately feel it getting wetter and wetter.

I took my finger back out and within seconds she was going down on me.

"I really need a new boat," I thought to myself.

It will most likely be released as a zip file as without access to the website and other bits of info, auto-update isn't an option at present. I also don't have time to mess about with installers at the moment so once I'm done, it will be a case of zip and post.

Shut Up and take my money

I will TOTALLY pay to have EVE HQ Back.
Ive been with EVE for like 8 or 9 years, and nothings comes close.
Fitting tool is the best, calculates everything from so many angles.
If the POS fitting tool can come back some day, Id be so happy.

My point: Make it optional/mandatory to pay.
Developers should get compensated for their amazing work, and to make it worth continuing; and most importantly, to lower wife aggro.

I will argue that say, $4.99/month usage fee is totally worth it. Id pay much more.
I have 3x accounts in EVE that I pay for regularly [+2 more with PLEX for extra training from time to time].
All that money has been [almost] wasted for the last few weeks because Ive come to rely on EVE HQ so much.

So for me, I rather pay and have good quality EVE HQ.
I would go as far as saying: "I dont want EVE without EVE HQ"

No doubt someone with those web skills may be able to pull it off, if they're willing to convert all the code and the UI as well. I personally can't see it happening as it's just too much work, but who knows.

Oh, and charging a fee (if not for in-game isk) is against the EULA and the site would be shut down very quickly by CCP.

I'm not sure if this is anywhere near ready but as promised, I'm making a version available for initial testing and feedback. It's available as a zip file so just unzip somewhere and run. However, just to add:

1. This is a test version so backup your %AppData%/EveHQ folder before using this just in case.
2. Do report any errors/incorrect calculations/general funkiness, not only does this help you and me, but also everyone else.
3. Please be gentle, it's been a while since looked at the EveHQ code so I'm a bit rusty Bear

Still To Do/Known Issues
1. BP copy time is incorrect
2. Factory/Research costs need looking at

To answer your questions:

1. Yes the fitting tool should be updated with new modules.
2. The skill planner should also be updated as a result of using the latest data.
3. I haven't touched anything to do with prices at the moment, that's something to consider in due course. What is the error you are getting?

I get a whole bunch of module error messages (9 or 10) when running the .exe right off the bat, then only the core apps appear, no fitting tool or prism. :/

Can you post the text of the error messages, or a screenshot of them?

Thanks for the images - it certainly explains why plug ins are unavailable after loading. I'll look into it.

I downloaded the BETA, last night. I have not had a chance to really check it out, but it loaded fine. I ran Prism and updated the API data just fine. I also added a new API Corp key, updated with no problems.

I will try to check out more tonight.

Just for information, do we use evehq tracker or your bucket tracker for bug report ?
I'm in office, so will test features this night.

Please use https://bitbucket.org/NewEdenTech/new-evehq/issues for issues for the time being. I do get notifications for both but I don't know how long the original tracker will remain open for.

Right, I may have an answer to the startup issue. I think this is being caused by Windows security preventing access to the files simply because they have been downloaded from the web.

You should be able to right-click the .dll files causing the problems, selecting Properties, then clicking the Unblock button. It should work fine after that but any feedback on this would be appreciated.

Indeed, the startup problem is resolved "unblocking" every .dll in the EveHQ folder.
