I also want to be able to turn nebulae on/off cuz sometimes I just want to stare at the depressing blackness of space itself.

Its kind of silly that it even needs to be asked for. This is a PC game for PC gamers, include the texture pack already. DO IT!

I want this, some pilots may not give a darn about looking at there ships while flying. But i love to enjoy the scenery. And zooming into my ship for that cinematic effect. Whenever i realise the textures dont quite sink together it ruins it.

Then again, im just some new kid that liked it better when the turrets only deployed when lock on... Oh well...

Why is it that people think this game is for everyone?A better question would be "Why do some people think this game is only for them?"

Tech guys said it was possible (maybe even done, I don't recall exactly) and something else was blocking it- whatever that something else is, seems to be still there.

141 pages of support for this now CCP (and this isn't even the only thread on this matter). You said so yourself when I started playing this game 2 years ago that it was available. It's not like you even have to do anything other than release them.

Free publicity, free selling point for the next patch, free appreciation from the community... seriously, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??!!!
