Hi,

While in station (only, in space that's ok), I don't see anymore the little squares representing the systems I travel for a given route. I have tried right clicking there and there and have read the contextual route menu, but I see no option to restore the behaviour. If someone can help?

Thanks.

Okay so 2 things to try

Do you see the Route panel at all?
If yes then mouse over the title bar, you'll see an arrow at the far left between the 'A' and the edge of the neocom. Click that to expand it.

If you do not see the Route panel look at the very top of the panels area. You should at least see the A and the sun icon kinda greyed out. The A will be highlighted in a box though. This means it was minimized so click that to show it again. Then try step one again if you still don't see the route shown as colored squares.

Thanks!

A plain example of clunky interface. The arrow that let you expand or collapse the route detail is not shown until you move the mouse over its hotspot, and said hotspot is something like 16x16 pixels wide.

The entire bar is the hotspot, you can click anywhere to the right of the A, to about 10% into the screen to hide/show the panel. You don't have to hover over and click the arrow itself. This goes for all the panels

The slightly lighter block is all the 'hotspot' that you can click to show and hide the panel

I did say "title bar" didn't I? :P

I think it's CCP's way of trying to remove clutter. Since that icon only needs to be shown when you wanna do something with it.

This a clunky interface???

Got to be kidding.

CCP did a great job with giving as much options in as little clumpsy interface as possible. The bars are easily accesible if you need it but not annoying when you dont need it.

The arrow do indeed show when you mouse over the whole bar, when the route detail is activated.

If you, somehow, collapsed the route detail, said arrow won't show if you mouse over the route text (system, constellation). But I'll rest my case, the EVE interface is generally very good indeed, although I prefered the old way of collapsing windows (reducing them in tiny tiles at the bottom of the screen).
