Mobile depot, refit & fit browser

Hi,

I have been using with some success the mobile depot to change my fit to some salvagers. The problem is that I can do that only manually, removing the modules by hand.

In the station, I have created with the fit browser 3 configs. One is the battle one, the second is the battle one with all high power slots empty, and the third is the battle one with the salvagers in place. I have emptied the cargo hold each time to reduce the possibilities of "interferences" coming from varying quantities of ammos (except for salvagers/turrets).

In the station, I can change without any issue to one of the 3 config.

While in the mobile depot, the fit browser is never working. So my question is:

Is the fit browser (with load functionality) not working with mobile depot normal and expected, or it can work under some conditions I have not identified yet...

Thanks for your answer!

Working as designed (if not necessarily "intended"). The fitting manager thing is relatively new, and there are likely problems with the "old code" that handles refitting in space.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Thanks for the replies. Is this a known problem to CCP? Or it will stay this way?

Will probably stay I would say. There are some balancing consideration with allowing capitals to refit between cap/tank/dps with just a single click.
