Reducing the clickfest for Reaction-Tower

Open Towermanagement Window (2 clicks)

offline silo (wait 5 sec.) (1 click)
access silo (2 clicks)
drag and drop batch in silo (at least 1 click)
online silo (wait 5 sec.) (1 click)

rinse and repeat for all Silos

Gonna take the Average of 8 Silos per POS

Total clicks needed for a Tower: 42

At 10 reactions tower you need to click: 420 Times + dock up, refilling cargo, warping and jumping processes

Solution Attempt:

Stop that online and offline stuff, all other POS modules need to be online to take stuff out but only Silos need to be offline?

In addition make it possible to drag and drop stuff right into or out of the interface of the Tower-Management-Window!

That would safe 4 clicks per Silo. If we take again our Average of 8 Silos per Tower it would reduce the amount of clicks 24 pwer Tower that would help a lot and make it not a horrible expierence with wierd interfaces.

Also if you can't take out stuff of offline silos maybe people would consider attacking reaction-tower for getting stuff out of that thing. That could add some extra content.

What does the rest of the community think especially fellow Reaction-Tower-Manager?

Having done this in the past I have to agree with you. Having to offline silos sucks hairy monkey-balls.

What if reactions were dropped in favor of making a pos moon goo assembly array?
That is the moon harvester gets a hold that fills with the goo and then you dump it and use reactions and all as per normal industry instead of having a separate form.

Though seeing how CCP recently withdrew an attempted POS improvement feature (the stacking bonus), I wonder how possible this would be. Seems like the code is crappier than any of us can fathom, and even simple stuff is non-trivial to fix.

Since its an automatic production line were you just have to provide materials, I do not think it would be good to make it the same like industry. My proporsal is for moongoo overall , but if you have only a harvester setup you do not really need to maintain these things every 1-4 Days, just once a week.

The main thing is some people just do reactions buying materials from jita importing them into low or 0.0 because they do not have access to valuable moons, and then just react them to higher materials. If you want some profit you need tight setups that need attention every 1-4 Days.

And to service Tower can be really a pain, by clicking thousand of times the same generic stuff every 2 days.

What I do like is the planning overall, managing the logistics, checking prices every day, watching the market trend very carefully, and figure out the best setup and doing statistics how its going. (Man sometimes I think eve players are all workaholics!)

The same goes for planets. The whole mechanic of routing them isn't necessary. Each resource can probably be used by one type of factory if the planet is set up intelligently. Also resetting extractors tends to leave almost all of its heads in the same place can be done with a single button outside of planet view.
