Constructing ships in POS

Lets say I'm building a capital ship in a POS for someone. You can't fly the ship and the recipient can't use the POS. Obviously, transporting the capital isn't an option. Can you eject the completed ship into space without a pilot so the recipient can board the ship?

Give it a shot?

I never considered building a cap I couldn't fly.

Yes, but the both of you had better be ready to jump in it the second it comes outta the array ... else, you'd better be quick about probing.

I assemble the ship in the assembly array, drag it to a SMA (or CSMA) and eject it.

I've not had an issue with the ship moving very far when ejected, but the SMA was fairly isolated. If the ship bounces of another module, it could indeed be a chase to catch it.

From the department of hilarious things to see in EVE:

Eject a fresh Titan from an array, watch it bounce... and sail gently out of the POS shields... with a guy chasing it in a pod Benny Hill style.
