I have been reading up on Planetary Interaction. There's a bit of info that I need sorted out --

Some places I read say Advanced Factories take in 20 units of T1 per hour for each of the two materials (40 units total), for an output of 5 units of T2 per hour.

But other places say that they take in 40 units of T1 per hour for each of the two materials (80 units total).

Which is correct?

You'll have to check in game for the answer (sorry, I'm at work)...

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Basic P1 takes 3000 and gives 20 every half hour
Advanced P2 takes 40 and gives 5 every hour

So one basic can feed one P2 advanced factorys one inputs raw material

40 units of each material required for production?

Where are you reading these conflicting numbers?

P0 -> P1 is 3000 -> 20
P1 -> P2 is 40 -> 5
P2 -> P3 is 10 -> 3
P3 -> P4 is 6 -> 1

That is for each input, not total.

some P4's require 40 of P1 instead of a third P3, e.g. sterile conduits.
