Fighters, Fighter Bombers and "Race" Drone Specialization

I was wondering, since drone skills now include fighters and bombers, why is it that they are not affected by the racial drone specialization skills, I would think that these skills would, along with other skills, directly affect them as well and in my opinion it would be a logical thing.

My idea is that you would need "Race" Drone Specialization lvl 1 for T1 "race" specific fighters and bombers, and then later down the line, when and if you decide to add T2 fighters and bombers they would, along with other things, have the lvl 5 skill requirement.

Why ?

Just because something is unlocked through a certain tier doesn't mean everything should follow that base module. For instance, lower turret Specs for higher turret specs just have been removed for that same reason. You would reintroduce a concept that we just got rid of.

And the discussion if it was good to include fighters and bombers into the drone tree this way is still open if it was good or not.

Your suggestions sounds more like a 'just because' without reason.

those skills are T2 specializations, t1 drones and sentries dont get any bonus from them, fighters and bombers are not t2 ad shouldnt get those boni neither

But yeah, until these skills effect all t1 drones, from lights and racial Ewar drones, I want to be sure fighters + bombers get no more love. Cause when was the last time carriers and super carriers were totally considered worthless?

The Racial Drone skills are the T2 specializations. Having them impact Fighters and Fighter Bombers, both of which are technically T1 drones, would make about as much sense as having Small Railgun Specialization benefit a 150mm Railgun I.
