Manufacturing material numbers question.

Hello,
I am confused about the amount of material i need to produce fuel.
I got a perfect BPC with 300 runs.

I do not use any team. Reading the devblog i thought pos manufacturing would grant me a 2% material bonus, even after the stacking bonuses were removed. Here is my calculation:

Here is the calculation about the material numbers.
explanation of columns:
bpc 1 run: material of 1 run according to the 20/10 perfect 300 run fuel bpc
300 runs: bpc costs * 300
2% save: cost of 300 runs according to bpc * 0.98
pos 300 run need: requiered materials for 300 runs according to the industry tab in my pos
dif % pos -> 2%: pos 300 run need / 2% save. it states the procentual difference between calc according to bpc and real need from pos.

As you can see in the last column "dif % pos ->2%"
the difference changes several times. It goes from 8.2% less mats as bpc says to 1.5% more mats as bpc says.
As the percentages are different in 5 cases, i have no idea what pattern is behind this.
I have no idea what i am missing, can someone please enlighten me?

Do not use the material requirement for one run on a researched blueprint, you need to start from the base values and then apply the quantity formula. You might want to check out my thread at https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=4868184#post4868184 for all the industry formulas.

You can get the base values from the SDE or by doing a show info on an unresearched blueprint (there are half a dozen ways to get the show info window of an unresearched blueprint without owning it, you will probably know one already).

Edit: Also there is no 2% manufacturing bonus visible on the numbers you posted, they are exactly the same you would see in a NPC station. Either you didn't select the correct assembly array or you found a bug.

thanks for the info.
So the numbers in the researched BPC are kind of useless.
I will calculate it again with the base values now.

If they had put the base values in the show info window other people would complain exactly the same about that. There is really no right answer for that design problem.
